    The only stories this show writes is couples drama now, and that has been done on every show ever, and it was done better on a lot of them. The best episodes this season had nothing to do with the couples. Chiefs drinking story arc with Derek was all good especially the chiefs speech episode.The episode were the first mercy west resident gets fired nothing to do with relationships. Also the new episodes with the Mercy West cast were good. Those were the best episodes and story arcs this season past that none of the episodes were greatly interesting. They need to focus more on the career and medical drama of the show and how they get threw that not how they get threw their love relationships.


    Yeah maybe showing more of the career side and about 5% of the relationship side would be the way to go now. They can't seem to write good on the relationship stuff anymore and I hate most of the couples anyway.


    I think giving another good sl to Merder where they work together would be a good idea because I really liked that in S4/5 when they had the trial going.They could also do something with Cristinain that departmentbut her problem? she always lets the guy get in the way. Another reason not to root for her and Owen. They refuse to do anything personal with Alex so well why not focus more on his career then? he's good with babies lol.


    Problem is could this get boring? if they focus too much on medica/career side I'm afraid I might lose interest just as much as I am now. The only way this would work in their favor would be to focus on the main couple and that is MerDer. They'd keep me around! Give them a major story! Alexand Cristina without Owen. They tried Mark and failed. Honestly I don't know what to do with the rest just keep them in the 5% lol

    Ya thats another problem alot of the characters they have are no longer interesting because they have to many of them. I agree they should focus more on Derek and Meredith. Make Christina and Alex more career oriented. They should turn Avery into a somewhat new George, and have Lexie join Meredith, Christina, Alex, and Avery creating what we used to have with the interns at the begining of the show. Create the group atmosphere of them trying to survive there residency like they had when the show first started.


    Im not saying get rid of relationships all together but that should not be the sole focus of the show like it is now. More medical and career drama less couples drama.


    They do have to many characters thats why I think its difficult for any of them to get a decent story because there is so many to focus on, but who knows. Again I will need a good finale to keep me watching. The show is already bleeding viewers downto ten million and episode last week.

    ^ Thats a good idea! Jackson fits in nicely so I can see that happening and Lexie isn't as annoying lately. I'm sure that would also bring the humor back to the show thats been lacking a lot this season.

    Well it's not as good as last year's S5, I have really enjoyed this season!
