    I really hope Izzie and Denny become a couple!! They would be the perfect couple. I'm also startin to wish that Meredith had blown up. What a b*tch she can be at times.

    After seeing George with Bailey's baby last night the thought occured to me that maybe George will be the one to leave the program but stay in the hospital, say in pediatrics? I had origonally hope that it would be Alex leaving but now I'm not so sure. This is just a guess on my part though

    So, everyone obviously realizes how complex the whole Meredith/Addison/McDreamy thing is...if the creators wanted to be really tricky, do you think they'd make Addison pregnant?! That would keep this particular plotline complicated, and would prolong the mystery of who McDreamy will stick by (if either of them...).

    Just wanted to throw this out here. Its probably been discussed and speculated about before, but I'd love to hear why this would or would not work

    I think Addisson and McDreammy will end up together. Not that they are not together but like really work things out. I do not know what will happen to Meredtith. I guess she will find someone else.

    I think that George and Bailey will become good friends, and they will both start to develop more of a social life. I also think that Addison will leave with Mark and Meredith and Derek will get back together, or she'll stay but get divorced from Derek so he can be with Meredith who he is obviously meant to be with!

    I really hope Alex and Izzie stay together, because although he can be an ass and their relationship seems to be all about sex, I really do think they care for each other. And Denny just kind of creeps me out!

    Who is going to find George an apartment?

    I hope he does to. He doesn't need to go back and live with Mer or his parents; but he needs to get off the couch.

    In general:
    If you already know what's going to happen in the next episode and you want to talk about it you should go with the "Spoiler plus Speculation" thread.

    If you just want to talk about what you think should/will happen next (in the next episode) talk about it in the "Speculation" thread.

    In your case:
    If you feel that what you've got to talk about walks too fine a line go discuss it in the thread created for that episode. It would seem that what you've got to talk about is not only about a single episode, but also a particular episode. I would recommend that you go discuss it in the thread for the episode entitled "Superstition".

    Well, Denny's kind of getting on my nerves. I never have figured out why Izzie finds his pathetic jokes so cute. Surely he's not the first patient to flirt with her, right? I've been warming up to Alex lately, I thought the cupcake thing was very sweet.

    I for one am very glad that Denny didn't die. I do not like Alex i think he can be a real a** at times, but that is just my opinion. I like Denny and think that he and Izzie could make a good couple. Once he gets a heart and gets out of the hospital they're home free and I think they will start dating. I think what started out as a simple crush on Denny's part will grow into a full-fledged love affair.

    actually, not to be a spoilsport, but they will never be homefree. once a doctor-patient relationship, always a doctor-patient relationship. period. doctors can not, legally or ethically, enter into a personal relationship with their patients, unless the doctor-patient relationship is officially and permanently terminated. i know its all fiction but if the show stays as authentic as it has been so far in terms of dealing with medical practice issues, any izzie-denny relationship will NOT fly. alex has good reason to be upset at whats going on, even aside from his involvement with izzie. its completely unprofessional and unacceptable on izzie's part. i've got alex's back on this entirely. (even though he had no right to take it out on george!!) imo, he's covering izzie's ass so that burke doesn't find out the extent of it (even though i'm pretty sure he has a good idea of whats going on) because i think he truly does care for her. he's not one to be all emotional and for him to say some of things he's said to her shows that its more than lust on his end. and i think it goes both ways. she saw through his jerk side to what was underneath. she just has to set some boundaries with denny. and alex is trying to get her to do that. she needs to suck it up and just let go. she can't give denny proper medical care if she's clouded with emotion so she should be smart enough to back out. alex might've been a bit harsh about things with denny--how he said it anyway, not what he said, but i think denny appreciated it. patients need to know the truth--factual truth. not warm fuzzy versions of the truth.

    Maybe your right, but I still don't see what is so wrong. Izzie is really beginning to like (maybe even love?) Denny and I think he feels the same way about her. Isn't there anyone who gets that? Ugh, its like some weird hospital version of Romeo and Juliet. I just hope Izzie and Denny don't both die at the end.

    i agree that its pretty obvious they have feelings for each other. and i'm not saying its wrong for izzie to have feelings for denny. she just has to stop being his doctor if she is going to do that. its an extremely complicated legal/ethical/moral thing and there are well defined boundaries that govern the doctor-patient relationship. and she's, without question, violated that boundary. all she has to do is hand off his care--say its a conflict of interest. but she hasn't. thats where it becomes wrong.
