After eight years of practice, the residents head to San Francisco for their oral boards; sparks fly between Catherine and Richard when they bump into each other at the hotel; Bailey intervenes after Owen and Teddy get into a heated argument about their young car crash patient; and Mark tries to recruit Lexie for one of his cases. Meanwhile, Alex feels guilty for being away from the hospital when Tommy's health begins to fail

This was such a perfect episode. I love when they move away from the all the medical cases and the hospital and they just do relationships. April owned this episode and her scenes were priceless, especially the bar fight. But the biggest surprise came when she slept with Jackson.

Talking about sex - I was more than happy for Richard to sleep with Catherine, he deserves to be happy after all those years and poor Adele's Alzheimer's. Meredith got the stomach flu from Zola and she and Cristina shared some great moments at the hotel. But the the shocker came at the end when Alex didn't show up for the boards. WTF?

All in all - perfect episode and Grey's at it's best - dealing with relationships. 10/10moreless
