  • Grey's Anatomy tries to show how society works; and brings in Addison to try to save a ship that is sinking.

    1.0
    "Abysmal"
Everything was bad from the beginning.
The narration was horrid, nonsensical and didn't follow the line of the episode plot.
I disliked all the cases, and Addison couldn't save the ship from sinking, specially when she said "Nothing changed here, so I know I did well when I decided to go".
Actually, everything has changed so much that everything is kinda blurry.
Lexie's gang "coding" reminded me of what some groups do to isolate, or to close from the rest. It's what teenagers do. They seem so cool saying stupid groupal things, and thus believing they're better than the rest, only to deny that they really are empty people.
About this, what George says to Izzie is the last drop. Laughing and watching if your friend is laughing? I can assure that if Izzie weren't laughing, George would have stopped laughing...and that's a sign of a fake person. We all should laugh about whatever we want, and not care about what the rest may think, maybe only consider why we are laughing. So George really seemed fake here, like that one that tries to fit in a group, laughing about his other friends, or whatever, and forgetting the essence of his being.
Things I liked: Mer's reply to Callie's inquiery, Adisson's attempt to unearth Callie's tendencies, and potencial lesbian action. If you didn't notice Erica is a lesbian in episode 4x11, in this one you really do: now we understand why she won't let Cristina scrub in or whatever. But it's not an excuse for her to do so because it's unprofessional of Erica to let her out over avoiding the chance of falling for Cristina. Still, I think it's a good thing they bring in homosexuality issues. It could give the show an interesting turn.

Last week, Grey's showed us that we have to destroy other people to get to the top; this week, that we should fit in any group by any means necesary, especially forgetting about who we are. Are those the kind of values that are worth to follow? Should our society be based on this values?moreless

  • Addison and Rebecca returns and cause some havoc. Izzie feels left out and the emotional tumor patient has surgery.

    "Superb"
This has to be my favourite episode. It has some great tunes and come with lots and lots of drama. I enjoyed seeing Addison again and I love how she caught on to Callie's relationship with Erica, (Callies reation killed me) got through to Izzie, teased Rose in surgery, tried to catch up with everyone and had the 'get Derek back' talk with Grey. I loved how George said that he missed Izzie (My Grizzie shining through) and Erica telling Yang off. The tumor guy kinda scared me with his sudden mood swings but I still loved every minute of the episode.moreless

This was such a great episode!!! I just loved it!!!!! So we didn't get any development in the MerDerRose thing... but that doesn't matter.
I'm not a big Addison fan, but I did miss her. She was so great. And George and Izzie had a break, so the whole weird thing wasn't there and we got to see a little bit of the old Izzie. Which was good.
And the medical stuff was very good to. I have to admitt a got little emocional... but what can I say guys? I just missed Grey's very much. I think everyone was themselfs like they haven't been in a long, long time.moreless

  • A good character development episode with lots of drama

    "Perfect"
A good character development episode. Izzie finally gains confidence, when an HIV infected woman is pregnant and wants an abortion. Initially the woman is very angry at Izzie for suggesting that she keep the baby. Izzie gains her confidence and lets the couple know that there is a 98% chance that the baby will be ok if she follows her treatment correctly. The woman is very happy and decides to have the baby.

Rebbecca/Ava returns and tells Alex Karev that she is pregnant and he asks her if she is going to keep it or have an abortion. Not knowing how to handle the situation, he leaves for a surgery. The surgery he performs is on a baby with his heart on the outside of his body. The surgery goes well but Alex is staring at the baby and you can tell by the look in his face that he has feelings for the fact that Rebbecca/Ava is having a baby and you see him reaching out to touch her stomach in the end. Izzie gets the results back on Rebbecca/Ava and she is not really pregnant.

The Derek/Meredith saga continues. They are working together very well, but the tension between them is still there. You can tell that they still have feelings for each other.

Are Erica Hahn and Callie becoming a couple. Callie insists not and leaves the bar with Sloan near the end of the episode. I think they will end up a couple.

This was an outstanding episode with a lot of character development and drama. The brain tumor guy goes in for an experimental treatment/surgery and dies on the table. The baby with the heart on the outside of his body and his mother come out of the surgery alive, but there were complications.moreless

  • Addison returns to Seattle Grace Hospital, only to find that everything has been changed since she left. Shock and truth are out there in the air for our McHot...

    10
    "Perfect"
I have never written a review for an episode of Grey's Anatomy, but I felt that this episode deserved a one of me because just of Addison' temporarily return to Seattle Grace Hospital... This episode can be marked as a truly proven Grey's Anatomy formula that held everybody at the end of their seats. Everybody, even Lexie, were in their elements. For the first time this season I didn't hate Callie anymore because she wasn't being mad or sad or anything. It was really funny that everything was pointing like that Callie and Erica were like an lesbian couple... I just think that Addison' return was just good for everybody because everybody needed to be a little jammed up because in the last episodes the tension burned down.. Addison has settled the things right, after discovering that Meredith and McDreamy broke up, for Meredith what might cause her wanting Derek back in the next episode (I hope). She even talked Erica and Izzie into good senses... Too bad that the tension between McHot and Karev suddenly dissappeared because before she left for L.A. there were so many signs that it might work out between her and our hot-headed guy...

But wait, since I'm writing this review, there came several plots into my mind that might be worse for the next episodes.. Yang's attitude is so dumb.. she just turned into a fembot who is that desperate to serve Erica Hahn everything she wants.. I mean, I really enjoyed her even the last three seasons but she's seriously drifting too far.. I was happy to have Rebecca back because I think that she and Alex might be a good couple but I'm worried after discovering that Rebecca might be not even pregnant.. Guess I'll have to wait to see the next episode how her reaction plays out..

I really enjoyed this episode after being held on the couch because it's just an episode of Grey's... This episode showed me that the formula of Grey's what worked that good in the first two seasons is still there.. I'm really wishing here that Private Practice has shut down it's production so that Kate Walsh could be back in Grey's Anatomy (Her contract guarantees a return to Seattle Grace if Private Practice flopped or cancelled)... There's bad points that I didn't like to see in this episode and good points that i like to see but i can't deny that this episode was really good written no matter of the bad points..

Go on! Go on! Shondra Rhimes, you can pull it off!moreless
