I felt like crying the entire episode. Poor Mark was doing okay and was awake, and then still had to die... I hated that, and I hated that Jackson wasn't able to get Sofia over there to say goodbye in time. How sad was it when you saw Meredith, Cristina, Arizona, Mark, and Derek on stretchers and then a 6th stretcher with a body bag with Lexie :/ I liked how they showed each individual character and the events that led to what we saw in the premiere.. wish that the last part could have shown Lexie in the wreckage and then a homage to her or the way the characters not in the plane reacted when they learned of her demise. Meredith's speech at the end was sheer brilliance. It is a turn around for her to be so optimistic. It was really sad when Meredith told Cristina she wasn't her person but made up for it with the scene in the end. Not much of Bailey this episode, but it was nice that she tried to cheer up Meredith and Arizona by bringing their kids to them. I felt SO bad for Callie this episode, worrying about her wife and best friend. I know Arizona is angry about her leg, but hopefully down the line she will come to understand that Callie only made that decision to save her life.
Overall, an outstanding episode, a few holes, but mostly great and very emotional.
