    Grimm's Season 2 Premiere: Heeeeeere's Mommy!

Along with Grimm’s Season 2 premiere came answers to the biggest questions from Season 1, more mythology than you can shake a Coin of Zakynthos at, and a literal boatload of human evisceration!

  • Episode Summary

While the Royal Families launch an attack on Nick, the Grimm tries to come to grips with the return of his mother Kelly. Meanwhile, Monroe and Rosalee try to bring Juliette out of her coma, Hank tries to cope with his recent exposures to the Wesen, and Renard must deal with the arrival of his brother in Portland.

    • what the hell?

this has nothing to do with the episode, but why, in all the episode overviews, is monroe referred to as eddie? the people that write them obviously dont know much about the show
    • Lots of back story

Being a relatively new Grimm watcher I found this a very informative episode while being very exciting as well. I knew nothing about how Nick became a Grimm and had never seen a single season one episode. It certainly started right off with action and kept up quite a bit of that throughout. I now know more about Juliette's problems and Monroe's place in the story. The confrontation with Monroe and Nick's mom was excellent and so in place for the story line while throwing a curve ball at her. Then there is the subplot involving Juliette and Renard which should play out very interestingly in the future. Finally the main plot is definitely attention getting and very gritty. Just simply a great episode and I rated it a 9.5.moreless
    • Bad Teeth

Bad Teeth was a perfect season two opening episode of Grimm and I really enjoyed watching because there was a lot of character and plot development. It was interesting to see Nick deal with with his Mother whom he thought was dead. I liked how she helped him and it was funny to see her reaction to Monroe and Rosalee. I enjoyed learning a little more about every thing that was going on and it was nice to see Nick and his mother reconnect. I look forward to watching what happens next!!!!!!!!!moreless
    • A magnificent start to the second season

So here it is, the season 2 premier we have been waiting for and who would have thought that this episode would have been just as startling as the last episode of the first season.

From the first scene of the slaughter on the cargo ship to the fight scene in Nick's house to his emotional talk with his mother, this is an episode set on fire and continued to blow everything out of the water until the cliffhanger at the end.

Everything was perfect but what got my attention most of all was the history of the Seven Royal Families and their link to the key and the coins. This made for an intriguing storyline and made me fear that Nick's life was about to get more dangerous. And who didn't love Nick's Mother after listening to her history of the Hexen Beasts and other demons that she was forced to hunt and kill when she was a child?

Even though Monroe only had a few scenes, the fight between him and Nick's mum was class and you just know them two are gonna be best drinking buddies by the end of the season. Thats if the mother doesn't get killed. I'm hoping that she sticks around for as long as possible because she has brought a fresh, exciting new arc to the show with an amazing backstory, which I'm sure will continue to shock and entertain until the second season reaches its stunning final episode. Bring on episode two.moreless
