Jup, nothing was really resolved around that in the end.
I found this ep a bit ... sloppy. Sloppy writing, bad acting...oh well, there have to be bad episodes

Yeah I liked the epi... but it was sloppy. They never explained about her hair... is it normal for blutbaden (sp?) to be able to strangle people with their hair?

Could be unique to her, an evolved way to hunt since she was young and had to rely on instincts and her hair grew out so it was a effective way to grab prey with out them noticing. Although i would agree with the guy still stuck in the basement they should have made this a extended episode

Perhaps the writer of the story used to play with Sindel a lot from the Mortal Kombat arcade games?!?!?

Looking back, for me this episode is when the show kicked it up a notch. Structurally, it's not the tightest. But emotionally, it was fantastic. Both Claudia Christian(the adoptive mom) and the actress playing the missing girl gave very moving performances, and Silas Weir Mitchell really knocked it out of the park as Monroe. He is definitely the breakout star of the show for me. He reminds me a lot of Bruce Campbell on Burn Notice. He seems to be able to take every line and make it funnier than it was on the page, just from his delivery. But he can also bring it when it comes to the drama, which he showed in this episode.
