Episode Summary

EDIT
Sean inadvertently finds a fake ID in Lily's bedroom. Sean and Claudia confront their daughter about her rebellious behavior, but they get few answers. They decide to hack into her e-mail to find out more about Lily's trouble-making friends. While they are checking, an e-mail comes in from a "SweetandNastee." Sean responds, pretending to be Lily. SweetandNastee gives Sean an address to a rave party in Yonkers. Sean and Eddie go to the address which turns out to be a dry cleaners. Convinced the rave is really at the dry cleaners, Sean and Eddie try to gain access to the party but end up getting beaten up by the dry cleaners' owner. Back at home, Sean and Claudia confront Lily, but she slams them for invading her privacy. Turns out she knew they broke into her e-mail account because she was online at a friend's house when she saw her name logged in. Lily made up the rave to teach her folks a lesson about snooping.moreless

This episode really displayed what this series is capable of doing. Keeping you completely intrigued all throughout, and having consistent story lines, and how they would have the end at the beginning. It shows that this isn't your normal family comedy.

Great potential you can see as early as the second episode, even the pilot, you could see that this show would go on for years. The plot was absolutely hysterical. Parents entering their teenage daughter's room... get ready to face some consequences Finnerties.

Lilly decides to play mind games with them, when she finds out they're on her computer. She pretends to be Christina on an instant message and leads Eddie & Sean to a made up rave, and a made up address. A great episode of Grounded for Life. Some of the best episodes here as early as season one.moreless
  • no teenager wants their parents to go in their room and lily is definitely no different. of course her dad (sean, i think his name is) decides to break every teenager's most hated pet peeve and go inside his daughter's room.moreless

i think that this is one of the better grounded for life episodes. i always thought the show was real, real funny and that the actors/actresses did a good job but later in the show it wasn't the same as it was in the beginning. the beginning has the best episodes. yenno, like s1. yeah. anyways. one of the best parts of this episodes was when everyone (minus lily, of course) was snooping around her room and in the end they were blindly talking to her on some messenger, meaning they didn't know it was lily on the other side. overall i think this episode deserved around a 7 since it was real, real funny after all.moreless
