Another outstanding episode of Grounded for Life's second season. Sean finds out one of his co-workers are gay and he ends up telling all of his co-workers that the person is gay which causes tension between the two. The fact that a theme park has an entire day devoted to gay people escape me but I guess it was suitable for the story line. We got a few cliches like the boys picking on each other and then some stereotypes thrown in here and there. Regardless, this was a solid episode.

I always find myself liking Lilly's story lines the best for some strange reason. I guess it's because she's my favorite character but you still can't deny that she was great here. Her being the jealous current girlfriend was hilarious. Especially her interactions with Eddie's girlfriend. The end was unexpected and hysterical. The Dean & Lilly relationship continues to deliver great story lines.

We got some awkward cringe-worthy scenes between Paul & Sean, and we got awesome payoff to show for it all. Overall, this was a recipe for an outstanding episode of Grounded for Life. Season 2 hasn't made a flaw yet!moreless

This episode finds the family going to an amusement park on gay day. The first five minutes of this episode are priceless and when Sean happens to be wearing the white shirt and jeans his reaction is amazing, and when Eddie won't give Sean his clothes it is great. The dinner party is also great with Eddie's girlfriend hitting on Dean. They were great in the Slums of Beverlyhills and it is good to see them together again here. Walt is really funny as well. But when Sean tries to convince his co-worker that he is open minded he learns that all the other boys at work already know. A great episode.moreless

      Gretchen: Looking for Eddie?

    • Claudia: (Realizing that they have visited the theme park on Gay Day) Have you ever even talked to a gay person before?
Sean: Whoa, ok, hey look, I was caught off-guard, all right, but I handled it all right.
Claudia: (Snorts) You were a mess.
Eddie: Yeah, you ate a corn dog with a knife and fork.

    • Walt: (Sniffs) Have I got on too much cologne?
      Sean: Aw, Dad your fine.
Walt: Well I don't wanna give this gay fella any false hopes.
Sean: You should'a thought about that before you grew that big flavor-savor of a mustache, Daddy.

    • Eddie: Okay, you gotta chill.
Lily: What? I'm just protecting what's mine.
Eddie: First of all, you don't own Dean. (pause) He's not a stapler. Second of all, my date is freaked out, thats not good for Uncle Eddie.
Lily: I know. I just, I can't help it, he makes me so jealous.
Eddie: I understand, I've dated models.
Lily: So what I'm doing's natural?
Eddie: No. What you're doing's psycho. Just take it down a notch or two.
