  • Claudia isn't pregnant.

I thought this episode didn't quite meet up to my expectations. Is Claudia pregnant? And it turns out she wasn't. I waited all summer for that? But no, it was a good episode, opened up new doors for the series. Sean buys a bar that Eddie plans to burn down for insurance but then Sean doesn't let him & he keeps the bar. I wonder where there taking this plot line. I hope we see more of the bar in next episode. Everyone's hairstyle is different except Eddie & Henry's. Um, yeah I can't wait to see more of season three.moreless

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • They try to play off the opening of this episode as if it comes just moments after the ending of "Oops... I Did It Again." Odd since both Sean's hair is much longer and Jimmy grew an afro over the summer.

    • Both Lily and Brad are revolted by the taste of scotch and soda, immediately spitting it out. In an earlier episode "Safety Dance," Brad imbibed straight Scotch whiskey to the point of inebriation.

According to season three comentaries, the reason for this was that they had simply forgotten

  • QUOTES (3)

    • Brad: Scotch SUCKS!

    • Brad: This is so cool! We're on a date in a bar!
Lily: This isn't a date. You're only here because Jimmy invited you.
Brad: Jimmy didn't invite me. I just saw you guys walking down the street and I followed you.

    • Jimmy: Are you okay?
      Henry: No, I feel sick.
Jimmy: Well, you know,Maybe you should stop eating so many of those cherries!
Henry: Maybe you should get off my back. They`re sweet, and red...and they make me happy! (pounds fist on counter)

  • NOTES (1)

  • ALLUSIONS (3)

    • Eddie: They don't care that Eugene O'Neill got drunk here in 1917.

Eugene O'Neill was an American playwright. He is known for dramatic realism.

    • Lynsey Bartilson (Lily Finnerty) sings "Walking on Sunshine" which is played in the begining of this episode as background music.

    • We Didn't Start the Fire: Title

The title of this episode is taken from the song "We Didn't Start the Fire" by Billy Joel
