This was a friendly little nook not far from a heavily-populated area. The characters, all very small by human standards, all learn about environmental harmony through the wisest of them all, Eco. She has the uncanny ability to talk to all nature, is an excellent gardener, and wise storyteller. Her lectures are aimed primarily at Maggie, the energetic jokester, and Galileo, the adventurer. Other principals in Groundling Marsh include Mud/Slinger, a two-headed creature who never stop(s) inventing, and Stacks, a computer Galileo built from unwanted electronic parts.
