Jill: Every time I get sent to Dewitt, the principal, Mike's usually there.
Mike: Boner's the one who dropped the entire bag of plaster in the kitchen.
Boner: Maybe I wouldn't have dropped it if I'd had some help.
Jill: (slaps him) You're beyond help.
Jason: (about Jill) What's the story about that girl?
Carol: Well, she never talks to anyone, except to be nasty, and she's always getting into trouble, Dad. I mean, she spends more time in the principal's office than Mike. And worse, she—
Shelley: She's not into clothes or make-up or anything that's important.
Carol: Dad, tell Debbie where you went to medical school.
Debbie: You went to medical school?
Carol: Well, of course he did.
Debbie: Wow, I'm sorry, I thought you were just a psychiatrist.
Jason: It all began in my office, with a patient. it was last Wednesday. I was sitting in my off—
Carl: Wait a minute! You have office hours on Wednesday?
Jason: Shut up, Carl.
Jill: Mike said I should always talk to someone I could trust and confide in.
Jason: That's my boy!
Jill: I talked to my father, and I told him what you suggested I say. I told him I do care about him and about how he feels. I said I knew it was a really tough time for him... that I respected how traumatic an ordeal this was for him to be going through.
Jason: And what happened?
Jill: He hugged me.
