I don't know if there is anyone around that still has a soft spot for our diminutive, gothic young star, but she will be retiring from the airwaves in less than a week, along with Grossology, another fan favorite that many Creepie fans including myself also enjoy. The last airings of these shows will be on Sunday morning, October 10, at 5AM and 5:30AM respectively.

Discovery Kids will shutter forever mere hours later and then be replaced by The Hub. While The Hub will also offer children's programming, having looked over its lineup, I'm sad to say it doesn't contain much that's worth tuning in. I honestly expect The Hub to be a spectacular failure because of the fact that there are simply too many channels already servicing the audience of that market and it brings very little that's new to the table. I'm pretty much pre-judging this as a waste.

Be that as it may, whether anyone wants it or not, The Hub is coming and Discovery Kids is going. Please make the most out of your last chance to watch Creepie, Grossology, and any other DK show you might enjoy as it will very soon be gone forever. Gone, but at least not forgotten.

You are so true. The Hub is really boring. I tried watching it this morning, but I fell asleep on it. Also, I watched the final episode of Grossology this morning. I can't believe that Grossology won't be airing anymore....It's my favorite show in this entire world...... It makes me sick to the stomach knowing that it will be gone forever.....

But, we can do something about that! Yes, we can! We can contact The Hub and Discovery Communications and let them know how we feel! We don't have to be hurtful though.....

Also, it breaks my heart that just about every other country except the U.S.A. can see Grossology and I can't..... When I watch TV, or hear about Grossology, or watch Grossology, I burst into tears..... I've loved this show ever since I first saw it and I've been obsessed since. I'm crying as I type this post, that's how much I love Grossology.

At least we have YouTube, DVDs, people that work for the show, Internet, and other thingamajigs.... I asked the people who work for the show to send me some season 2 episodes a few montsh ago, and yesterday I got them and they were hilarious. Every time I watch an episode, and it ends, I get this sick feeling that says, "I need more. There has to be more."

I just hate DK now! I hate The Hub! I HATE MY LIFE!!!! I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT GROSSOLOGY!!!!!

There is a tiny nugget of hope in this. I just reviewed The Hub's programming for a week out, and they do actually have Growing Up Creepie and Grossology on the schedule. Barely. Creepie will be on Monday, October 18 at 4:30AM, while Grossology will air immediately afterwards at 5AM. Some other old DK shows also air very late at night, early in the morning on Friday and Saturday nights, so this may be a weekly occurrenceI every Sunday night/Monday morning. It may not be much, but for the moment, it's all we're getting. It's one step above the complete blackout, so for the time being, I'll take it.

I envy your ability to get season 2 episodes of Grossology! I hope you enjoy them endlessly!
