Gunsmith Cats, one of the most high paced and humorous animes out there. Set in present day Chicago, Gunsmith Cats tells the story of two bounty hunters/gunshop owners named Rally Vincent and May Hopkins. Rally, known for her skills in handling guns has also made a name for herself by running a quality gunshop and for also bringing in criminals in her part time job as a bounty hunter, a job she takes very seriously. Her partner, May Hopkins, has an amazing talent for handling explosives regularly carrying large numbers of them and their accessories in her clothing.''''Together, they are the Gunsmith Cats and getting in their way will only serve to get your butt kicked. Working with the ATF to bring down an gun smuggling ring, the cats quickly find themselves caught up in a much larger, more complex situation than they anticipated. With a lethal Russian named Radinov, a trained KJB member out to kill them and a dorky ATF agent named Bill Collins along with a timid comptuer geek as their only allies, the Cats definitely have their hands full. First working to infiltrate the gun smuggling operation, Rally is eventually able to help Collins get to the heart of the illegal organization and put a stop to their activities once and for all.''moreless

Let me get something off my chest. I'm not a huge fan of Anime. I can count on one hand the anime shows I can stand to watch.

Gunsmith Cats is my favorite anime, and for two reasons. One, The story is by far the most solid I have ever seen in amime. Two, the realism in the artwork. Plus the fact that Gunsmith Cats is more a Mini-series (Only 3 episodes). What surprises me the most is I have found nothing about a DVD release. Considering the amount of anime available on DVD, one would think that a Gunsmit Cats DVD would do well.moreless
