This episode has a weird racial vibe going on. The actress playing a ssaloon girl bears a strong resemblance to Yvonne DeCarlo and her long lost lover is part Maori and looks black. So it feels like the giant elephant in the middle of the room that no one seems to be addressing and that will undoubtedly be revealed at the end. Only that never surfaced. Were the racial aspects introduced as an unverbalized plot device?
Difficult to understand.
