  • It was not a positive ending.

I don't know if it was because of the time but I didn't like the ending. We're told that violence is not a good thing. But in this episode wherein a person doesn't want to resort to violence even if it's his people's tradition. There have been episodes in other show like in Robert Urich subsequent series Spenser for Hire wherein he fought Gerry Cooney and surprisingly Urich's character didn't win the battle but won the war when Urich refused to give up and Cooney decided to stop fighting him. They almost did the same thing when Urich's character refused to continue fighting his father when his father was beaten. I think it would have been better if the father respected his son's refusal to fight. I myself would love to do that to my father to show him I'm a man. But Urich character was somewhat pressured into it.
