This to me is one of my favorate episodes of the show and I personally think it's the most underrated, in this one we actually see more of the humanne side of Rosshu.

Rosshu's dillema is somewhat similar to the one Toby Maguire had in the film "Brothers" where he was an army captain that was forced to commit a crime and he can't forgive himself for it. Rosshu I always felt is cappable of doing what is right but that didn't qualify him to play the hero role. He had good intentions but those alone are not enough and in the end he made a lot of bad decisions which resulted in a mess of things, worst of all for his own life.

I really felt bad for this character because I understood why he did what he did and I can forgive him for it. We see his awareness of his mistake is just eating away at his soul. Even the words of his mentor in a scene offer no comfort, from the fact the book of their religion is nothing but a joke Rosshu feels as though someone is saying everything he believes in is a lie. And in one moment when Rosshu was walking to the graveyard where is village was the mentor says "I thought you did a great job" but then Rosshu looks at him and says nothing, I knew exactly what Rosshu said with that look "No I didn't."

The final minutes were suspenseful because you knew exactly what was going to happen next and you wanted Simon and Kiron to get to him on time. And I'll admit the moment they got there on time was great I loved seeing Simon punch Rosshu before he could pull the triger not just to stop but personally I really wanted to see Simon give Rosshu the knuckle sandwich he deserved. I really liked what Simon said about paying for consequences and forgiving oneself. It's true we all do bad things in life it happens

but as long as we try to redeem ourselves for our mistakes then we can have the ability to forgive ourselves and move on. Even though Simon was the hero personally I thought it was Kiron who was the true hero. Her love for Rosshu saved him and I really love the moment where she revealed those feelings and Rosshu did the same in return.

So in the end Rosshu has been given another chance and is able to start life anew with the girl he loves and whom loves him back.moreless
