The flashbacks in this episode are different than from the real episodes. For example, in the first flashback, this episode cuts out the scene where Boss is stuttering and jumps right into Hamtaro's song, and Bijou claps 3 times and nods her head after the first line of the song, but in the original episode, Bijou nods later in the song and she claps when the song ends. Also, in the second flashback, Bijou tells Hamtaro that she was scared, and then he instantly jumped. In the real episode, Hamtaro told her to copy him before he jumped. And after Hamtaro lands on the branch, he turns around and tells her that everyone was waiting to meet her and she instantly launches into a jump, whereas in the real episode, the Ham-Hams all say, "Come out, Bijou! Come out and play!" And when Bijou lands on the branch, she lands on her hind legs and takes a few steps backward. But in the real episode, she lands clinging onto the branch and one hind foot slips, and Hamtaro reaches out his paw and helps her up.
Hamtaro: (before singing to Bijou) Here's a little ditty that I know you've heard before, we consider it an oldie but a goodie.
Hamtaro: Some people are just naturals when it comes to spreading happiness, like Bijou and yours truly!
Bijou: (off camera) Oh, Boss! Boss: (without looking) It's started already. I'm hearing her voice and next I'm gonna start seeing her all over the place.
Oxnard: Ever since Bijou left it feels like there's a hole in my heart where she fell right through.
Bijou: Sorry I'm late. Bad ribbon day, you know.
Stan: (to Bijou) You still look radically blue in a white kind of way.
Sandy: I always put a cabbage leaf hat on my head when I have a cold.
Howdy: (regarding Bijou) Is it me or is she looking kind of pale? Dexter: I think you're right unless we've all become colorblind!
Hamtaro: Boss, I think you'd better eat something. You're starting to look like a ferret.
The flashbacks in this episode are from the first episode "Hamtaro" and "Come Out, Bijou!"
Bijou's going-away gifts: a bouquet of paper flowers from Pashmina, Penelope and Sandy; a teacup from Dexter; a book of poems from Maxwell; a small coffee table from Panda; a self-portrait from Stan; a flower-bowl hat from Cappy; an acorn from Snoozer; an abacus from Howdy and a song and dance presentation from Oxnard and Hamtaro. Boss was going to give Bijou his heart as his gift, but once again, he couldn't get the words out.
Hamtaro and Oxnard perform the opening and ending portions of the Hamtaro main title theme and the Ham Ham gang joins in.
