Maxwell: Remind me to check for references next time we need ninjas.
Howlin': Shoulda packed a sweater, Robin-Ham. The weatherman calls for... ice!
Prince Snoozer: Give the ham the treasure. And bring me something to eat. Like bean pudding.
Howdyas: It ain't fair. Everyone knows what a nice guy I am.
Laura: Great day, huh? And guess what. I have a funny feeling tomorrow's going to be even better. Well? Don't you think so too? Hamtaro: Heke.
Howlin': You disappoint me, chick-ah ninjas. That was a little too easy for Howlin' the Magician.
Pashmina: What do you think, Penelope? Penelope: Ookwee! Stan: I agree with Penelope.
Boss: Beware, chick-ah ninjas watch this houseā¦for a small fee, of course. Bijou: Chick-ah ninjas? What an honor! Boss (aside to ninjas): Flashy jump. (The Flashy Jump goes off fine until the ninjas become tangled in one anther and crash to the ground.) Pashmina: I told you we need more practice before we did that move in public.
Dexter: Lord Counselor, might I suggest cold water? (to wake Prince Snoozer) Maxwell: I can't pour cold water on His Princeness!
Maxwell: (regarding Prince Snoozer) I've tried potions, tinctures and bad poetry, but nothing seems to wake him up.
Snoozer: Look out, Maid Laurian. Zu zu.
Bijou: It is funny how any time we talk about Snoozer, I get sleepy.
Bijou: Why don't you all cut it out? We're trying to read.
Boss: (to Howdy) Get down here and fight like a ham. Howdy: I'm the King of the Castle!
Laura: What a perfect day.
Laura: I should have brought Hamtaro with me. He could have protected me form the forest ninjas.
Laura: There's something nice about this tree right here. We could lean against it and sketch the shrubs! Kana: Then how about you sketch here while I sketch at the stream? Laura: S-separately? You think that's safe? Kana: I'll be, like, two seconds away. Are you worried about forest ninjas carrying you away?
Bijou: You're Robin-Ham! The one who takes from the rich to give to the poor! Robin-Ham: And I protect the town from mean and bossy magicians like Howlin' here.
Howlin': I just picked this trick up at a weekend magician's hoe-down!
One of the feudal Japanese treasure boxes features dollar signs on it, a clash of the American viewers and the Japenese design.
This episode is actually based on the legends of Goemon Ishikawa, a legendary Japanese thief. Though according to some stories about him, Goemon was roughly the Japanese equivalent of Robin Hood (with the whole "robbing from the rich to give to the poor" thing).
