Bijou: (to Boss) You are not clumsy. You are brave and responsible and hamsterifique!
Boss: (regarding Princess) Doesn't that dog ever get tired? Of all the days to be wearing a three-piece suit.
Kana: (on Maria's piano playing) Isn't this beautiful, Laura? Laura: Yeah, but she's a little off with the grace notes.
Boss: (after knocking over the dolls) I'm a 3 1/2 inch bull in a china shop.
Boss: (regarding the dolls) Talk about class! Those dolls are dressed better than I am! Hamtaro: And that's saying something!
Bijou: Come on, mes amis. I want to show you the house and Maria's collection of dolls! Boss: (to himself) You're kidding. I'd rather be at home watching football.
Laura: Maria's used to having the best of everything. Kana: I know. Her family's loaded, but they're not snobs or anything.
Boss: I've changed my mind! I don't want to go! I wore this suit ages ago for a wedding, now I look like a circus act!
Howdy: (to Boss) Nice suit. I'll have some fries with my burger.
Boss: Bijou used to live in France. She's very sophisticated and my wardrobe went out of style with skinny ties and zipper jackets.
The first season episode, "Midnight Celebration", was another episode that featured the Japanese custom of Hinamatsuri in its original form. Both that episode and this one have been modified into birthday episodes for North America.
This episode is apparently heavily modified from the original Japanese episode which featured the Japanese/Chinese custom Hinamatsuri.
This episode also appears in online listings as "Mana's Birthday Party." (almost certainly a mistake in which the 'r' and 'i' in Maria's name were mistaken for an 'n')
