Laura says that the amusement park will be in town for the rest of the week. This makes little sense, since the park is clearly a permanent establishment and not like a mobile carnival.
Hamtaro: At least the bad weather scared the storm away so he didn't come over for dinner. I"m sure all of us Ham-Hams can find some way to give Mimi a ride on the ferris wheel. Heke!
Bijou: Oui, oui. I could not just stay in the house knowing that a storm's going to hit the Ham-Ham fun park. Hamtaro: Yeah and the weather's bad too.
Hamtaro: A storm is coming? What's that? Is it coming for dinner?
Bijou: I would have loved to ride a ferris wheel that howls like a coyote.
Howdy: (regarding him and Dexter) We're pretty good, huh? I think we can do standup. We could go on tour! Dexter: I have one thing to say about your humor, Howdy: Enough already!
Boss: (to Hamtaro and Oxnard) Aren't you a pair of lucky rodents. I wish I could go! No senoree!
Mimi: (to Panda, drawing a picture in the dust) This is Kana and Oxnard, see? And beside them are Laura and Hamtaro. And here's you and me. And my family's beside us over here: see? And we're all together on the ferris wheel. And it's really... great.
Kana's Father: I'm scoring big "father-daughter" points. Laura's Father: Just for dropping her off. I'm going on the rides. Kana's Father: Ha! Which one? The pony ride?
Mimi's Father: (regarding Tina) She's got a future in opera, she's so loud.
Mimi: (to her Mother) It's always Tina Tina Tina. So what about me?
Hamtaro: Too bad you're not a portable pet, Brandy. You gotta stay home.
Hamtaro: This Storm is a nasty guy. Toppling down trees and stealing lawn chairs. Why are they inviting him over? I don't get it. He'd better not try sneaking off with the Ham-Ham fun park. I'd better go check.
The Ham-Ham Fun Park was introduced in the episode "Panda's Ham-Ham Fun Park!" Additionally, both Laura and Kana were originally going to an amusement park (the same one as this episode actually) in "Panda's Ham-Ham Fun Park!" but ended up at a kiddie park instead.
An odd ending: although Laura does reflect on the events of the episode at the end, she isn't shown writing in her diary. She also doesn't say any form of her usual "today was a good day and tomorrow's going to even better" line. This might be because the story doesn't actually end, instead it continues in the next episode.
The events of this episode are continued in the next episode: "The Sunflower Ferris Wheel."
