A traveling amusement park comes to town and Laura and Kana plan a trip with their younger cousin, Mimi. Sadly, Mimi finds herself not wanting to go when her parents are unable to take her due to the illness of her new baby sister, Tina. Laura and Kana still get to go and Hamtaro and Oxnard sneak along with them. When they return, they tell the ham-hams back at the clubhouse about their adventures. This makes Panda sad and angry because he knows that Mimi is upset about having missed out on the fun. The ham-hams hatch a plan to show Mimi a good time by inviting her to their Ham-Ham fun park.moreless
Laura says that the amusement park will be in town for the rest of the week. This makes little sense, since the park is clearly a permanent establishment and not like a mobile carnival.
Edit
The Ham-Ham Fun Park was introduced in the episode "Panda's Ham-Ham Fun Park!" Additionally, both Laura and Kana were originally going to an amusement park (the same one as this episode actually) in "Panda's Ham-Ham Fun Park!" but ended up at a kiddie park instead.
Edit
An odd ending: although Laura does reflect on the events of the episode at the end, she isn't shown writing in her diary. She also doesn't say any form of her usual "today was a good day and tomorrow's going to even better" line. This might be because the story doesn't actually end, instead it continues in the next episode.
Edit
The events of this episode are continued in the next episode: "The Sunflower Ferris Wheel."
Edit
Hamtaro: At least the bad weather scared the storm away so he didn't come over for dinner. I"m sure all of us Ham-Hams can find some way to give Mimi a ride on the ferris wheel. Heke!
Edit
Bijou: Oui, oui. I could not just stay in the house knowing that a storm's going to hit the Ham-Ham fun park.
Hamtaro: Yeah and the weather's bad too.
Edit
Hamtaro: A storm is coming? What's that? Is it coming for dinner?
