This one starts off With Laura watching the newest and most popular idol singer Glitter singing with her pet hamster Sparkle and Laura is unbeleiveabley excited about Glitter transferring to her school to be closer to her record company but she turns out to be a petty and narsistic little rotter almost emidiately tries to make Travis fall in love with her by tying to buy him off with backstage passes to her concert on the weekend, the password to get the behind-the-scenes news on her website even though Travis only knows she excists because the other girls sing her songs everyday before class and that she's shoving herself in his face. Meanwhile Hamtaro has told the ham-hams what he's heard about Sparkle and when Sparkle's "dressing room" gets knocked over right when the ham-hams are passing by they rescue her and bring her back to the clubhouse but she is just a carbon copy of her owner on hamster shaped carbon paper the ham-hams try to at least make her happier with all sorts of games, including "the goofy face parade" when after the whole thing Sparkle still has the same look on her face and then the pull on Oxnard's face for a "show stopper" expression and Sparkle's running away and eveyone's running after her still pulling on Oxnard's face and shouting I laughed so hard I nearly passed out (in fact I'm laughing hysterically just writing this). Then there's the concert Glitter thinks Travis is being shy because he's not looking at her, but really he's so bored that he's falling asleep. And soon Glitter tries to get rid of Laura so she can kiss Travis but she and Sparkle fall into one of the costumes for the monster battle show later now the people hosting the event which will be aired on T.V. are in trouble. But Laura her friends and Hamtaro put on the show insted of Glitter and Sparkle (which they see right after falling over on a T.V. set in town) they save the event and it's a happy ending.
One last note though Sparkle isn't half as nice as the minihams (an idol group seen in the movies) also these two seem to remind me of Onpu from Ojamajo Doremi or at least the side of her that we first see.
