In this episode, Stan breaks Sandy's ribbon and gives her a new two-toned one. But in later episodes, she is seen with her old ribbon and the two-toned one is never seen.
When the Ham-Hams are running to eat some cake, they all yell, "YAA!". But some of the Ham-Hams' mouths are moving rapidly.
Dexter: Sibling rivalry I'd say. Boss: What's that? Some kind of disease?
Howdy: (after telling joke) I know: Take a time out.
Boss, Howdy, Panda, and Oxnard: A giant squash a day keeps the doctor away.
Dexter: Now hold on a nano-teeny-weeny-milliminute.
Mr. Yoshi: One more thing, you're welcome to donate your finished pieces to the teacher's lounge, if it's edible.
Oxnard: Dizzy from hunger, haven't eaten since my second brunch.
Panda: Kushi kushi. Our cake is going to be so yummy.
Travis: Stick with me, I'll teach you to cook like a pro. Laura and Kana: Okay.
Travis: Hey, check out my gourmet pineapple glaze. Laura: Mr. Fancypants.
Sandy: (regarding the cake) It's delicious! Stan: Better than trail mix.
Boss: What in Ham-poobah?!
Boss: It's funny how a tune can move even the toughest, strongest ham.
Stan: Wanna hear the twirl twirl song? Howdy: Ah, you're kidding me! Not that old song.
Howdy: I've seen rabid chickens who look friendlier.
Bijou: In fact, food presentation is an art.
Laura's Mom: Relax, honey. Your Halloween apple face was terribly ugly, so if that's what you're going for, I'm sure you'll do fine.
Sandy: Make like a banana and split. Stan: No need to ask twice because I'm outta here.
Sandy: Now look what you've done to my ribbon. Stan: Huh... uh, who needs a silly ribbon? I was gonna give it back anyway. My stuff's way cooler.
Boss: Look at these kiddies. Not an ounce of willpower among the lot of them. Krmp krmp, krmp krmp...
Boss: Last to be done is a smelly gerbil!
Laura: We had a good day today, didn't we? And I have a feeling tomorrow's going to be even better, don't you think? Hamtaro: Heke. Laura: Night, Hamtaro. Hamtaro: Night. Laura.
Howdy: My paw is awfully stiff. I don't know how Michelhamgelo did it. Dexter: Opposable thumbs.
Laura: (peeling apples into shapes) Aw, every time I get the eyes right, I end up cutting off the nose. Laura's Mom: Honey, are you sure a shriveled head is appropriate for the Food Craft exam? Laura: It's a shrunken head, Mom.
Hamtaro: We can't let Sandy and Stan go home angry.
Mr. Yoshi: Successful food display requires not only creativity but patience and attention to detail.
Oxnard: Methinks this does not bode well.
Maxwell: Ideas, anybody? Boss: Sorry, I used up all my good ideas earlier when we were planning to decorate a cake with my name on it.

In this episode, Boss says, "What in Ham-poobah?" He is obviously referring to the character he played in the dance for Mimi, Poobah, in "Midnight Celebration."
The instructions Mr. Yoshi has for fruit punch-making on the board in this episode are in English and seem to be complete.
Stan and Sandy's birthday is June 6th according to the official Hamtaro website.
