The ham-hams have gathered in the clubhouse because Boss has called them together for an important meeting. They need to come up with a plan to try and find Sandy's brother, since they recently learned from Elder Ham that he is somewhere in town. Boss has been having everyone learn Sandy's "Twirling Whirling" song and he has Hamtaro recite it to prove that he knows it. The ham-hams are rather dubious as to their chances. They really don't have much to go on and they live in a large town. Plus, Howdy isn't really sure whether to trust Elder Ham's advice. They think that Sandy's owner, who is Kana's friend, may hold information that could help them, but they don't know what to do since they can't talk to humans. As for Sandy, she's not at the clubhouse, but she is at home and is full of hope that she'll find her brother. Her owner, Hillary, goes to a gymnastics class, where she meets up with Laura and Kana, who attend the same class. Also there is Noel, a friend of Hillary's who secretly likes her, but doesn't know how to express his affections. Hillary introduces Kana and Laura to him and he also shows them his hamster, who he calls Stan. They talk and learn that Stan is actually Sandy's brother. Hillary gave him to Noel, who was happy to have a hamster at first, but now he has a problem. Ever since then, it seems like he can only talk to Hillary about hamster toys. Laura and Kana agree to bring Hamtaro and Oxnard to meet him. Elsewhere, Sandy is out talking with Maxwell and Bijou. She tells them that she's been having dreams about finding her brother. Maxwell says that it's a premonition and that it must mean she'll find her brother soon. That evening, Laura tells Hamtaro all about meeting Noel's hamster. She tells flat out that this hamster is Sandy's brother, which gets Hamtaro kind of annoyed that she didn't tell him sooner. The next day, Kana and Laura bring Oxnard and Hamtaro to meet Stan as promised. Stan is sleeping, but he wakes up when Hamtaro performs the "twirling whirling" song. Stan tells Hamtaro that it's his song and he wants to know where Hamtaro heard it. Hamtaro tells him all about Sandy and the clubhouse. Stan describes himself as quite a master at romance. He says that he remembers Sandy, but it's been so long since he's seen her, he began to think that maybe she was only a dream. Hamtaro tells him that she's real and singing her heart out for him, so he agrees to come to the clubhouse. Once there, he's rather annoyed when it turns out Sandy isn't there yet. They tell him that he can surprise her when she comes. They'll make it into a surprise party. Meanwhile, he gets to work, trying to romance the girls of the clubhouse, starting with Bijou when she first comes in. He twirls her around and sweet-talks her, impressing everyone with his moves, but royally irritating Boss, who complains that Stan is with "his girl." While this is happening, Sandy shows up outside. Bijou and Hamtaro come out and whisk her aside and she says that she has something she wants to say. She tells them that she doesn't want to put them through the trouble of looking for her brother anymore. Just knowing that he's close by is enough for her. Back inside the clubhouse, Stan is talking about offering dance lessons to the guys. He says he'll teach them stuff like the "hamba" and even throw in some hip-hop moves for free. Maxwell doesn't understand the idea of "hip-hop" and thinks Stan said "hop-hop." Eventually, Sandy gets suspicious as to why she's being kept out of the clubhouse. She forces her way in, wondering if the ham-hams are hiding something for her. The ham-hams are forced to scramble and when she comes in, she sees decorations and wonders if they were going to throw a party without her. They all perform the "twirling whirling" song for her and then have her pull on a string, which opens a ball of confetti. Everyone is surprised because they all expected Stan to pop out of the ball or something like that. Then, to everyone's surprise, Stan comes riding in on an airboard and introduces himself. Sandy is glad she's finally found him. To top things off, Pashmina and Penelope come in, wondering if they've missed anything. Stan immediately tries to romance them, but Sandy twirls her ribbon and his tail and ties him up, saying that she's beginning to remember how big of a flirt her brother was. That evening, Laura reflects in her journal that people say that pets take after their owners, so Stan must be a very shy hamster. Hamtaro, of course, knows this not to be true at all. She says that since she's moved in, she's met lots of people with hamsters and figures it must be a new rage or something. She thinks that she and Hamtaro had fun today, but tomorrow will be even better.moreless
