Hank discovers that his dreadful mother-in-law is coming for Thanksgiving.

    "Mediocre"
This episode was written by Jackie and Jeff Filgo, veteran writing team from classic sitcom That 70's Show. With all the memorable Thanksgiving episodes that series has had you would think some of the magic would sprinkle onto struggling ABC series Hank. You would be wrong. Sure, there were a few solid laughs here, mainly courtesy David Koechner, Kelsey Grammer and the cameo by a cat, but this was hardly a good episode, even by Hank standards. I'll continue to watch as the show does star one of TV's most beloved stars, but they need to do better than this to keep other viewers from flipping channels.moreless
