Well Hannah Montana is a world wide show now.

Her songs are on the top of the charts and her t.v show is really loved. It's kind of expected the people will want to claim some of that profit.

I think the Wikipedia page for TSR stated that the "Better Days" episode may have possibly been intended to be a backdoor pilot that never materialized and that parts of the premise were lifted for HM (which, like the "Stevie" theory, wouldn't be a surprise because HM creator Michael Poryes produced That's So Raven as well)

I agree with all of you, this guy is probably only in it for the money! I hope HM wins the case because it's the best show that Disney Channel has...

I read this review for Disney's movie Cars? Here's the review in question http://www.screenit.com/ourtake/2006/cars.html

Anyway to paraphrase what they said in it they claimed that both the basic plot and the overall unfolding of the story was directly parallel with Doc Hollywood with some slight substitutions here and there.

    Oh, not this loser again!

I heard about this sometime ago.

Let's see some evidence. Does he have scripts, a tv pilot, what? At least something that proves he was going to make a show. If all he has is "an idea", that's not much.

Personally, I think it's just another case of the leeches latching on. You get something that's popular, you find all kinds of nasty creatures crawling out of the woodwork.

Anyone, doesn't this sort of thing happen all the time?

I don't know how often it happens, but fortunately we have a legal system where he will have to present his evidence in court where it will be tested for its validity by a judge or a jury. Until then, we can speculate all we want but it won't make any difference.
