Miley discovers somebody knows her "Secret" and she finds out it is Rico. To make sure he won't tell she pretends to be his girlfriend, so the other students will think he is cool for hanging out with her. But dating Rico, even pretend.. is not a good idea.



I liked this episode, it took me like 3-4 tries (because I never saw the end) to know what was happening, and when I saw what the "secret" was, it was pretty funny. Overall, a good start to the show's second season, my overall grade for this episode is an A+

This is a a very good episode to start the season. It had everything the first season had and more. This episode is about Miley's first few days at high school. On her first day she gets a text message from a random person that says they know her secret and they will everyone in the school if she does not do what he tells her to do. Later that day Rico comes up to Miley and asks her if she got his message. Rico makes Miley be her boyfriend. Also Jackson has a new kid following him and thinks he is his friend. But nobody likes the new kid.

Miley gets a text message from someone saying that they know her secret. She obviously thinks they know that she is Hannah Montana. She finds out that Rico is the one sending the text messages. He tells her he wants her to be his girlfriend and I really love what Lilly says...

Miley: Okay, Rico, you know my secret. What's it going to take to shut you up?

Rico: You... as my girlfriend.

Miley: Say what?!

Rico: Don't flatter yourself, doll face. This is strictly business. I need some hall cred in this place, and you can help me get it.

Lilly: Oh, so all he's looking for is a little arm candy.

Rico: That and someone to reach the top shelf of my locker.

Lilly: (To Miley) You can totally do that.

Miley: You can totally shut up!

Miley agrees so he won't tell her secret. Miley was going to give Rico a kiss on the cheek, but he turns his head at the last second. In the end, the big secret was a picture of Miley kissing her teddy bear.

It was an average performance, average puns, average episode all around. I don't expect more from the characters, I expect more from the writers. The actors didn't have a lot to work with on this script. Most people seem to like this episode, so I am happy for the writers, actors, etc. But I. . . I am a tough cookie. Lol. Please try to keep the performance to its highest level, even if you have to reach a deadline. I know it will be hard if you are trying to make the deadline, but you could probably work it out.

I thought this episode was very good. It's one of my favorites actually. I found the storyline funny and very ammusing. I enjoyed the fact that they are starting high school and have new obstacles to overcome as the school years goes on. I think it will make the series much more interesting because there are now more possibilities for future storylines. I thought the fact that Rico had a monkey in his locker with a snow cone machine and a mini fridge entertaining as well. Overall, it was a very well written episode and I hope most of the future episodes will be like this.

I didn't think that they should have put Rico in high school yet because he looks like he could barely start middle school! And why would Rico have a snow cone machine, a waterfall, and a monkey in his locker???? That makes absoulutely no sense. Everything else was fine, but those mistakes were stupid to do. I couldn't believe that Miley fell for that trap. I did like the part where Miley was going to kiss him, but then stuck the chicken wing in his mouth. That was funny! I liked the episode, but I think that they shouldn't have put Rico in high school yet.

I really liked the episode. I think that it is a great way to start season 2 of Hannah Montana. I love the episode. I think the scheme that Rico pulled off was the most entertaining to me. Especially when Oliver opened the cell phone and water squirted onto his face! I think that was totally unexpected. It was so funny! I laughed so hard. And near the ending, I though that that kiss between Miley and Rico was so totally unexpected. It was so funny. And when Miley was about to trip because of that banana peel. And when the monkey from Rico's locker squirted snow-cone syrup on Oliver's face... LOL! That was so funny. I loved that episode.

Well, I liked how Jackson decided to accept the new guy at school, even though he was kinda weird. And the whole "butter churn" thing was pretty funny! Ditto for the part when Oliver got squirted with the fake cell phone! But other than these parts, I thought the show was kinda silly. Maybe not as bad as some of the other Season 1 shows, but the business with Rico having a monkey in his locker...? Come now...! Just plain ridiculous! And couldn't Miley and Lily see that Rico was just putting on an act with his "pity me" routine?? I got annoyed with them for getting all "Awwwwww" over him....and then Miley ends up getting a smooch on the lips from the little monster...which is exactly what she deserves for being so trusting! I couldn't help laughing about that!

I liked this episode it was very funny. Is one of the best episodes of the show so far. Hannah is at a concert when she starts talking about school. Miley goes to her first day at high shcool. In school Miley shows Lilly her bear, and then she gets some messages of someone gonna tell everybody at the lunch about her secret. Then Oliver appears stuffed with muscles looking funny. In class, Rico is introduced, he skipped some grades, and he's like "Hey, toots. Got my messages?" The four guys talk and Rico says the phone is in his locker, Oliver opens it and it wasn´t his. Then Miley agrees to be his gal. She has to acted like his girlfriend or he would tell the secret. Finally, they found the actual locker, it was the only one with a foot stair on it. But there wasn't the real phone, and they had to fight a monkey. Meanwhile, Rico is making Miley to kiss him, Lilly and Oliver get in time and Miley puts a chicken in his mouth. Rico shows them the real phone, Miley confronts him finally and Rico desists to do it. Miley acceeds to kiss him in the cheek, but Rico turns around and kiss her in the lips. Next, Miley starts chasing him, when Rico screams help to the monkey and the monkey throws a banana, Miley steps on it and flies away. That was so funny.

In the other hand, Jackson meets Thor, and his friends mess with him. Then Robbie makes him to remind about his first day of school. Jackson makes friends with Thor and makes butter with him.

There were a lot of funny moments: The water bucket, "Uh, you can totally shut up." "My mom's a cop!" "I be hit by a lightning if I'm lying" and she moves to the left. Jackson's "bleng" was hilarious. Rico is hilarious at this one. The monkey, and a lot more.

Rico's picture was Miley hugging the bear! What a crazy first high school day.

I'm a tough person to please when it comes to television, but this episode had pretty much everything I loved. It actually had a plot for once and the actors did a pretty good job too. Rico finds out "Miley's secret" and holds it against her as blackmail. Not wanting anyone to know that she's Hannah Montana and to continue leading a regular life, Miley goes along with anything Rico tells her to do. Eventually after being pushed around so much, Miley gives up and tells Rico to buzz off. Although, Rico plays the innocent card and tricks Miley into a full on smooch. In a rage, she chases after him throughout the halls. During this, Lily and Oliver finally get the phone that Rico's "blackmail photos" are on and finds out what he considers Miley's big secret. Although, it wasn't quite what the two where expecting. All it is a photo of Miley and her stuffed bear, Berry. It was a good season premiere, and I'm looking forward to alot more episodes of this quality!

I loved this episode! loved the group dynamic between miley oliver and lilly- but then again i always do!



Lilly and oliver are just so funny to watch! I love their fights and think that the dynamic between them is wonderful!



Wasn't so sure about miley in this episode. I don't like the idea that rico is now in high school with them- it seems rather like they just thought "this kid needs more lines- lets just pretend he's a genius and bump him up 3 grades". i dunno it just seemed rather weird to me.



Loved the sequences with lilly oliver and the monkey- very fun to watch! Generally a good episode- but a bit less rico would have been good!

This episode was really good. Rico is really smart for his age and is in the ninth grade with Miley, and on top of that.... he knows her secret! In order to keep him from sending a picture to the whole school, she has to act like his girlfriend. It is really funny how it all unfolds, and Lilly and Oliver are back with more stupid moments, crazy conversations, and pointless fights. Then there's Jackson who has his own problems away from Miley's. The new kid thinks that Jackson is his new best buddy, but nobody likes him and Jackson doesn't know what to do. It is a really good episode is pretty wholesome and clean. I love it and any one else who likes Hannah Montana probably will too, but I can't speak for you so watch it and find out if you like it.

This episode was good and i enjoy watching whenever it comes on. But it had some weird parts in it. The whole monkey in Rico's locker thing did not make any sense. Why would Rico have a monkey, a waterfall and a snow cone machine inside his locker. That part was just stupid. It had some cheesy lines in this episode too. Also I do not like Thor. In this episode its Miley, Lilly and Oliver first day of high school. Miley gets a text message saying someone knows her secret. She finds out it was from Rico and he makes her pretend to be his girlfriend. In the subplot, Jackson tries to get rid of this guy named Thor.

I knew the sercet wasn't really gonna be hannah montana but thats what they wanted you to think. But really it was just a picture of her kissing her teddy bear. While she's in school on her first day. It also happens to be lilly first day,olvier, and ricko first day of high school too. So ricko sends her a message that he knows her big sercet and to cover it up she pretends to be his girlfriend but it the end ricko pretends to act sweet so miley could kiss him which she did but it was a trick.

I loved this episode. This was defenatly the way to start a season. What I liked most was when Miley and Rico kissed. You thought Miley was going to kiss Rico on the cheek, right??? Nope. Rico turned his head fast enough so MIley kissed Rico on the lipps. I thought it was very funny when Oliver said to Rico, "Your little blackmail sceme is over." and he opened the phone and monkey pee hit him in the face. Also, Thor was very funny. Oh, and Robby's song, "My Kids Are All Gone" is halarious. But, what I don't like about this episode is that Jackson is mean to Thor. But, I liked the end when they became friends and Jackson hit the air bubble in the butter and...POOF!!

Ok so like in this episode of Hannah Montana, things were so funny. Rico thought he found out Miley's secret but really he did not find out that Miley was Hannah. However, Miley did think Rico knew she was Hannah Montana so Miley had to do everything Rico told her to. Miley had to pretend to be his girlfriend. And then Miley stalled Rico so Oliver Lilly could get the cell out of Rico's locker and delete the secret off of his phone. Miley got ahold of the phone later but Rico tricked her so that he got a kiss from Miley. Later Miley was so mad and Lilly and Oliver said that she would get even angrier when she found out that the secret Rico knew was not her Hannah secret!

Miley starts her first day of high school at Seaview High School. She receives an anonymous text message on her cell phone that says someone knows her secret and has a picture that proves it. Miley finds out that it was Rico who sent the message. To keep Rico from exposing her secret, he makes her pretend to be his girlfriend. After Miley finally gets Rico's cell phone, Rico gives her a speech on wanting to be liked. As Miley feels sorry for him she starts to kiss him on the cheek, but Rico turns his head and kisses Miley on the lips. Lily realizes that the secret that Rico knew was that Miley had brought her teddy bear to school, not that she is Hannah Montana. In a subplot, Jackson makes a new friend at school, a Minnesota native who is overly friendly.

Me and Rico Down By the School Yard was a great episode of Hannah Montana. It was the Season 2 premiere. I liked most of this episode, but there were some things that I didn't like. I really hate that Rico is now a star in the show. He is so annoying and shouldn't be a star in the show. Jackson's new friend is also sorta annoying, although I do like Miley, Lilly, Oliver, Jackson, and Rico's school better than Miley's old school. This episode was very funny. Miley and Rico also kissed in this episode. So overall, a great episode.

With all the shows that have been unjustly cancelled at Disney, only "The Suite Life" and "Hanna Montana" are worth watching, but the first episode of the new season seems to show signs that this could be the last season. They've added one character too far. That horribly abrasive and annying Rico who we saw too much of in the first season has been added; nothing against Moises Arias who plays him, but even Seinfeld knew you do not make a recurring nemesis a regular character. Rico is like the worst midget clone version of Neuman, unscrupulous and nasty for evil's sake. Unfortunately, he has a lot of Mimi from "The Drew Carey Show" in him; he's evil and nasty for no particular reason but to add to the plot. I like the "Hanna Montana" series, but it can't seem to decide if its taking itself seriously or not. This episode in particular has its good moments and an ending which is almost predictable for the more wiser and creative fans. The sub-plot again with Jackson and Robbie is more interesting. Overall, the series has a lot of potential if it can stay away from formulaic plots like this one.

Miley and Lilly finally enter high school, they are so excited about the whole thing of becoming a high school girl. Everything works out fine until Rico blackmails Miley telling her to pretend to be his girlfriend or he'll tell everyone in school about her secret. Jackson meets a new guy from Minnesota, he's a little strange, Jackson tries to get rid of him but Robbie Ray tells him to give this new guy some slack. This episode opens up season 2 with a bang, it's so hilarious, the story is really funny. I can't wait for the next episode.

This episode had me laughing all the way through, just some of the jokes and such were pure genius. I mean, the characters have developed over the season, and it was awesome to see them back in action, and also with an addition to a few more characters and such.. this season is bound to be amazing! The episode itself might as well outshine the entire first season, for I love it (in my opinion)

any way Jackson has a new friend turns out jackson is in the 11 grade! i never knew that any way. back to jacksons friend i forgot his name because i can't stand him he too GOOFY for my blood! i liked cooper better i hope he comes back! and Miley,lily,Oliver and guess who else Rico are now in high school! how many grades did that little boy have to skip together to the 9th grade!!!! Rico tell miley that he knows her "secret" so she goes through all this stuff because he aid he's going to tell so she has to be his girlfriend and all that jazz but then she finds a way to get out of his little evil way and triuphs at the end.
