The lesson at the end ab out how looks don't matter... sorry, I alreasy knew that years beforehand... certain lessons in TV Shows I do not mind, if they are handled well in the episode. This lesson however, is something most people either learn or are taught by their parents, and I did not think it was handled well in the episode. The overall episode was pretty weak and did not have much humor, I do not think so at least, so my grade for this episode is a 3.0, which is a low "D", maybe even an F. Sorry if you disagree
  • zits and glasses...

Lilly has to wear goofy glasses for a skateboarding competetion and Miley says it's ok. However, when a billboard of Hannah shows up with a huge zit, Hannah does everything she can to get rid of it. I really didn't like the story in this episode. It seemed unoriginal, like most Hannah Montana episodes. Even the name was copied from a song: "you're so vein, you probably think this song is about you" are the original lyrics. In the end, of course, we learn a moral. Overall, boring, unoriginal, stupid episode. I really don't like this episode because of the poor story.
  • Not great, but okay.

So this episode deals with Lilly and her new glasses. Lilly's dog ate her contacts, and her new contacts won't come in for two more weeks. Her back up glasses are pretty dorky. So since Lilly has to see Miley's bill board for magic glow skin cream, Miley tries to explain to her that looks don't matter. But when Miley's bill board for magic glow skin cream includes a picture of Hannah Montana with a tomato sized zit on her face, Miley doesn't follow her own advice as to looks not mattering. This episode wasn't that good, but I still enjoyed it. I would say it is not my favourite or my least favorite. It's just in the middle.
  • I love this episode =D

This is such a great episode! Lily looks so geeky in her glasses but its really funny, and they actually didn't look that bad! lol. Its funny at the begining when Miley is like "High Five!" and Lily hits Miley's face because she can't see. lol. Oliveri s also funny when he is like "I'm a lobsided freak!" and then goes "Stop staring at me, I am not an animal!" lol, he is so funny!

I really like Liza in this episode, she is really funny. I wonder why she isn't in seasn 2. Oh well. Probably cos she is in Cory in the house.

Anyway, I love the but when Robby-Ray plays the bongo drums and Lily and Miley dance to it, its amusing to watch. Overall this is such a great episode and a series classic and exactly why I watch it!
  • Don't let zits and dorky glasses stop you!

This is a great example of teen life and worrying about looks. A lot of girls this age find something about the way they look that they don't like. Lilly has to wear glasses to a skate park, and she feels like a dork in them. Lilly feels the same way when she sees a big zit painted on a Hannah Montana billboard. Both girls learn that it's not looks that should matter, It's what's on the inside that really counts. If you let the way you look stop you from having fun and living a life, you'll regret it.
  • This episode was great from beginning to end.

The photo shoot at the beginning was hilarious. The photographer was a little wacky. I never knew Lilly wore contacts but she lost them and didn't wanna wear her dorky glasses. One thing I learned from this episode is that people lie about pretty much everything. I was laughing at all the unnecessary lying Miley was doing. The photographer put a zit on Hannah's billboard photo and it was huge. Rico humiliated Jackson better than ever in this episode. Making him wear a dress was the ultimate embarrassment. This was an overall great episode and I enjoyed watching Miley Cyrus most. She's the prettiest girl in the world.
  • Miley and Lily's friendship is tested. This episode was so sweet.

I definately think that Miley and Lily's friendship was tested once again. This episode also went through the boundaries of every day teenaged girl's lives ; zits, spots, having to wear glasses and all the obstacles to do with growing up. Miley told Lily to do something and then when she has a similar problem she won't take her own advice, well that's Miley for you. I think this was a fine example towards the show and I would probably reccomend it to any Hannah Montana fan or first time viewer of the show as it it totally sweet and nice.
  • Hannah is the spokesmodel for Magic Glow Skin Cream, but doesn't like how her picture came out. Meanwhile, Jackson tries to get a raise, but ends up having to obey Rico's every demand.

This episode was a great example of friendship between Miley and Lilly. Plus, it had a great message in it; be yourself and don’t let things keep you back. I loved how it related to teenage girls, about the dorky glasses and the zits. Everyone goes through that at least once. And having Hannah Montana, a teen pop sensation, say to everyone that those things aren’t the most important things in life really was a great lesson. This wasn’t the most funniest episode they ever made, but was a good thing to watch. It also showed friendship between Lilly and Miley, how they are always there for each other.

i love it when rico is in the episodes. he really steals the show when he is on. he is again seen as messing with jackson when he dresses him in a dress and makes him act like a magician assistant. i have this episode on my itunes and watch it all of the time. it really is a classic episode. the only problem that i have with this episode is that oliver wasnt in this episode alot. but still miley and lily have another great episode. i love the photographer she gives hannah the zit on the board. she is so funny.

this was an awesome episode, extremely original, and no i'm not being sarcastic. lilly was so funny without her glasses when they were playing basketball and everything. also the picture lady was hysterical and then when robbie ray pretended to pour water on her head to get hannah/miley to laugh and then sits down and then the picture lady says, "i've done it again!" and then the second time when shes taking pictures of that adorable adorably basset hound... btw i seriously don't get this 100 word min rule it should be 50... also i also loved the lady's "crush" on robbie lol

This is my favorite HM episode!! It's funny, creative, and interesting.

Hannah gets a zit and Jackson needs money.

In the end I'm happy Hannah (Miley) chose Lilly over her perfect billboard. Not only is this how funny it also teaches values. Lol, :)

Jackson dressing up as a girl made me laugh hysterically!! He looked incredibly funny as "Tina". The parts where he also put his underwear in the dishwasher cracked me up!! Jackson is so funny!

I also loved this episode title. You're so Vain is a great song by Carly Simon and it really fit with the episode. Everything ended up good!

Now the story is on Lilly, Miley finds out that she has a poor eyesight if she's not wearing her contact lenses. It just happens that she has a game tournament to attend to and she doesn't want to participate because her spectacles make her self conscious of her self image. Miley tries to tell her that her looks doesn't matter if she doesn't let it get to her. But when Miley finds out that her poster captured her zit, she becomes self conscious about herself. This is one wacky episode. Overall, this episode is so hilarious, I just can't get enough of Hannah.

Miley is doing a promotion for a zit creme. Lilly has to wear her glasses because her dog ate her contacts. Miley told Lilly that looks don't matter. The photographer lady puts a hideous zit on Hannah Montana's face on the billboard. Miley sneaks over in the middle of the night with Jackson and paints over it after Lilly had already seen it. Lilly saw that Miley covered it up after she said looks don't matter. Miley felt bad so she washed it off in front of the crowd and made a speech about how everybody has something that they don't like about them. this was my favorite scene: Miley: Oliver!

    (Oliver comes)

    Oliver: Yeah?

Miley: Help me tell Lilly that LOOKS DON'T MATTER!

Oliver: Okay. (Imitating Miley) LOOKS DON'T MATTER!

Miley: See? If Oliver can say it with his freaky nostril thing, then you can get over your glasses!

Oliver: Yeah! ... (Looks at Miley) WHAT?

Miley: You know, one's totally bigger than the other one.

(Oliver runs up to a guy and takes his sunglasses and uses them as a mirror and gives them back and goes back to Miley)

Oliver: Look at this! Look at this! I'm a lopsided freak!

Miley: I'm sorry! I thought you knew!

    (Oliver starts to leave)

Oliver: Stop staring at me! I am not an animal! (He runs off)
  • Lily won't wear her glasses and Miley can't take her own advice.

I like these episodes that toy around with the celebrity aspect of Miley's character, but there's several things I want to point out wrong with it. For one, Lily acts as if she is outright blind without her glasses; if she's that bad off as she's acting, she'd be legally blind and neither glasses or contacts would help her. However, speaking as a person nearly blind without glasses, since she does resort to contacts, she should at least be somewhat near-sighted enough to at least see Miley or Oliver within two feet unless of course she is far-sighted and then, she'd see her friends up until five-feet from them. Another thing, if Lily is that far off, no glasses her mother could get from a gas station would help her. Cheap glasses are usually used by people with regard to light glare and would not help anyone with signicant eye strain. Loosely put, Lily should be around my personal eye strain and I don't act like that. Moving on, I like seeing Lisa Kushell from "MadTV" in this episode. I'm starting to like her more and more and a snooty photographer is right up her comedic talents. Oliver, however, I'm afraid is turning into a punching bag for a lot of physical comedy. Miley is quickly showing a lot of comedic talent as well as dramatic for a young actress. I hope more episodes will continue to explore her character's depth.
  • Boring at parts...

I liked this episode alot! I thought it was very funny! But, once again, Jackson stole the show for me!! He is so funny when he goes, "Wait, I have money!" This episode also had a good message about the fact that looks don't matter. Well, I think they matter alot, but still. I think that Lily was also very funny. I think that this was an okay episode, but i think that there has been, and will be better episodes. The only reason I say that is because it was boring in some parts. But, all around, a good episode.
  • In this episode of Hannah Montana, Lily just got glasses but she thinks she looks dorky. Miley tries to confort her and tells her looks dont matter. Then she is on a bilboard and she sees she has a zit, and freaks out.

I like this episode because it is funny the way she reacts about getting her zit. I like it how Lily gets glasses. Whenever someone gets glasses they always think they look dorky. It shows that happens to people. This show is funny. I like Hannah Montana because people can relate to some of there problems. It shows how Miley deals with her problems. This is a really good episode. What I also like about this show is that it is funny. This specific episode is hilarious. You have to watch it. This is one of my favorite shows on television!
  • I really liked this episode. My only complaint is...What ever happened to the Skateboard finals...who won? Does Lilly finally win it or does Heather take it once again? They should have let us know. Guess we'll never know.

I really liked this episode. I thought Emily was funny when she wasn't wearing her classes. The story line was good too...when Miley told Lilly that "looks doesn't matter" to build up Lilly's confidence because of her geeky glasses and then Miley flips out when she sees the billboard with her face on it with a big ol zit and has to pretend that it doesn't bother her...how hilarious. My only complaint is...What ever happened to the Skateboard finals...who won? Does Lilly finally win it or does Heather take it once again? They should have let us know. Guess we'll never know.
  • Miley discovers that there is a zit on her first billboard and she totally freaks out. Meanwhile, Jackson uses the dishwasher and a fan as laundry products.

I love this episode because it\'s funny and wicked awesome with rock music on top. It was funny when Miley got hit on the head by Lily just because she couldn\'t see. my sisters almost cracked when Oliver discovered he was a lopsided freak, yelling,\" Stop staring at me! I\'m not an animal!\"
  • Everybody is self-concious... Lily about her glasses, Miley about her face, Oliver about his nostrils, and Jackson about his lack of money. I don't regret watching this episode.

This episode while not the most funny, most interesting, or well - anything I can think of.... is still good. One thing that is has going is character development and the acting is good. In the beginning of the episode where we see what a normal day for Hannah could be like - it's nice to see that, but then when we come back we get to see a standard Miley-type day which is better. Emily Osment does a good job of being blind with correctional eye equipment (her contacts or glasses). Surprisingly the plot really only revolves around the Billboard, and it's complications are everyone else's parts. This isn't really a bad thing, but we don't see Oliver at all after he runs off after telling Lily that looks don't matter. This episode has a good moral point, and the first time you watch it it's very enjoyable. Then as it comes on later the same day you only really want to watch the first 5 minutes and then go do something else. I don't regret watching this episode, but I'm not hankering to see it again either.

This is already the best show on disney. So every single episode is going to be good. This episode was no exception. It was just as good as the others, it was funny. I think the only bad part was that they didnt tell us what happenend to lily in the skateboarding contest
  • Hannah is the face of a zit cream and that makes her very self conscious. Lily wears glasses.

This was not my favorite Hannah Montana episode. I thought the story line was weak and the cast's performance was less then average. Hannah Montana is my favorite show and I watch it all the time and this episode was a disappointment. I know Hannah Montana can jump back from this poorly written episode because the next episode looks really good. I have nothing against Hannah Montana but this episode was not a filler episode. I also think that Emily Osment overplayed the blind role without her contacts. You could tell that she wasn't blind without the contacts. She overplayed that but I still think that Lilly is my favorite character. I love Hannah Montana.

I liked this one! It had alot of humor, and it still had a good lesson to be learned. Rico is such a funny character! I know he's supposed to be the "bad guy" but he is so cute and so rotten at the same time that it IS pretty funny! I thought making Jackson dress up in drag was a little dumb, but other than that, there's a whole lot to like! Try and catch this one if you didn't see it!
  • Another Great Episode!

Like my title says, this was certainly another great episode! I liked how Miley was trying to help Lilly feel better about having to wear glasses and at the same time she could barely handle the huge zit on her own face. This episode was a nice example if you want to see one about Miley and Lilly's friendship, and those episodes are my favorite. Everyone seemed to be really comfortable in their characters, and as the series progresses, I'm starting to notice that everyone is starting to look more "into" their characters. Overall, this episode was actually perfect and that's why I decided to give it the perfect score it deserves of 10/10!
  • The Best Episode so far

Hannah Montana is advertising for a skin cream on a billboard and is shocked when she sees a zit on her face on the billboard. Lilly is in a skate board competetion and she just got glasses. Jackson tries to make more money by doing what Rico says. Robby tries washing clothes in the dish washer. This episode has a great moral and is the funniest episode. It teaches you 2 things. That looks on the outside don't count and Jackson looks ugly in a dress (don't ask). This episode was better by far and will probably stay the best.
