Chachi becomes jealous after seeing a kissing scene involving Joanie and another actor during rehearsals for a school musical. Fonzie also considers quitting as director.
  • High School Musical, it's not either!

For the first time in two years, Scott Baio fans get a treat when he sings for the first time since the Valentine's Day episode. I was surprised that it ended up being the future theme for Joanie Loves Chachi, only the second series to introduce a theme song (Eight Is Enough was the first).

The play itself made High School Musical look better, even though it was a Western. Larry Anderson (the one who played the lead and bullied Chachi in the process) went on to be on Lucille Ball's final series (Life With Lucy) as well as hosting Truth or Consequences. I think he still hosts lottery game shows.moreless
