Richie is delighted to run into an old friend fromsummer camp whom he hasn't seen for a long time. His friend, Mickey, has very definitely done well for himself as he is now the leader of the famous rock group "Fish and The Fins". The guys ask Richie if they can use the Cunningham house to rehearse so that they are not constantly mobbed by teenage fans an Richie readily agrees, as long as they don't make too much noise.

Problems arise for Richie when his friends don't believe that he knows the famous band members at all and Richie is hurt that they think he's a liar. They believe his word even less when the concert tickets they get have them seated miles away from the stage, but the band restore Richie's good name by publicly thanking him for all his generosity.moreless
