Episode Recap

Howard comes in with a bad back, and Marion helps take his coat off. Richie, Potsie, and Ralph come to the house to watch Afternoon Bandstand. Johnny Fish and The Fins are on the show singing a song, and Richie knows the band's piano player, Rocky Roads (real name: Angelo Coletti whom Richie went to summer camp together when they were nine). The band is coming to Milwaukee. At Arnold's, Richie tells them about his story when he was nine years old and saved Rocky from drowning at summer camp. Richie has to get six tickets for the show, and a girl named Corrine wants to go with him. Fonzie wants three tickets on the aisle. Richie tries to get to Rocky at the hotel room where the band is staying, but he has no luck. Marion calls Angelo Coletti (she knows his mother Sylvia) and is able to get ten tickets (row LL). Everyone is upset at Richie for getting such horrible seats, and no one believes that Richie actually knows Rocky. Later, Rocky comes to the Cunningham house. He wants to use the house as a hideout from fans at the hotel, and he doesn't want Richie to tell anyone. Howard comes home to find a car in the driveway and a fridge full of beer. Abe, a band member, helps Howard with his back. Corrine tells Richie that she isn't going with him to the concert. Ralph and Potsie come to Arnold's in Ralph's yellow hot rod. Richie is bummed out that he can't tell anyone. At the house, the band plays basketball. Rocky calls Corrine to prove that Richie knows him, but Corrine doesn't buy it. At the concert, Rocky makes a special dedication to Richie for the first song. They perform "Young Blood." Corrine comes to sit by Richie, but he says the seat is taken. Richie brings some souvenirs from the band, and Fonzie distributes them at Arnold's.
