Howard is worried about the family finances when there is new competition in the hardware business and he realises that the Cunninghams will have to tighten their belts as well as generate some extra income. It is decided that they will rent out their little self-contained bed sit apartment above their garage in order to obtain rent money, however, Howard almost blows a gasket when he finds out that Richie has already rented it out - to Fonzie!
This is a terrific episode where we see Fonzie take the first step to becoming a real part of the Cunningham family. Well worth watching, you'll love it.
