Potsie saves Fonzie from a fire at the garage. Out of gratitude, Fonzie grants Potsie any one favor, and Potsie wants to pal around with the Fonz.
  • A big fire at the garage where Fonzie works would have been fatal for him had it not been for the bravery of one person - Potsie.

Fonzie is lucky to be alive. A big fire where he works almost engulfs him along with everything else in sight but, luckily for him, a brave boy where a Jefferson High jacket pulls him from the flames and saves his life!

At first, Fonzie doesn't know the identity of his saviour but he is certainly incredibly grateful to be alive. When he finds out that it was Potsie who saved him, he is very happy and tells the young man that he will give him anything he wants to show his gratitude. It's very sad when we learn that all Potsie wants is to be able to hang around with Fonz and be pals.

We have heard many references throughout the series to the fact that Potsie's father isn't the world's greatest dad and it's incredibly 'human' and funny when Potsie wants to do all the things with The Fonz that he has obviously never had a chance to do with his own father.

A very touching episode and loaded with laughs as well.moreless
