Richie, Ralph and Potsie are all headed to Chicago to perform with the school choir and they are very excited about the trip. Ensconsed in a nice motel room, Ralph is excited and persuades the other two to sneak out with him and go to see a burlesque show. The boys agree and the three of them head out. The show isn't so bad as far as shows go but the three of them almost die of heart failure when they are presented with the bill for their drinks, a very large amount which is quite a bit more than they had expected!

A pretty good episode to end the second season with, quite a few laughs as the boys find themselves, as usual, in all sorts of trouble.moreless

    "Great"
In this fair but average closing episode of the second season, Richie, Potsie and Ralph go with the school choir on a trip to Chicago.

On the night before a big performance, Ralph convinces them to sneak out of their hotel room and go and see a comedy show at a nearby burlesque house. But it turns out to be no laughing matter when they get the drinks bill.

This isn't a bad episode at all, but doesn't match up to some of the classics offered up in this season.
It is also noticably void of the Fonz, who only has a cameo at the begging of the episode. (He may also appear at the end, but the showing of the episode that I watched had the last scene edited out - damn you, Five US!).moreless

He tried to cover up by saying he was demonstrating his perfect pitch. Richie: You just have a suspicious mind. Ralph: My mind's not suspicious, just dirty. Edit
    • (Ralph and Potsie have to share a bed.) Ralph: If you snore, you're gonna get a pillow down your throat. Potsie: Well, you'd better stay on your side of the bed. Ralph: What's that supposed to mean? Potsie: I don't know. That's what my mom tells my dad. Edit
