  • Richie and his family are in for a bit of a culture shock when he meets Deidre, a "new generation" young woman whose lifestyle is VERY different from theirs.

The movies were (as they still are) a very big thing in the 1950s and the teens of the day spent a lot of time in movie theaters. Whilst at a movie, Richie comes across Deidre, (Udana Power)a girl who lives a kind of life which is very different indeed to the one Richie is used to. When he takes her home to meet his family, they are somewhat taken aback by some of her opinions etc. but, of course, they areextremely polite. They don't feel so kindly towards her though when Richie gets completely caught up in her lifestyle.

Pretty dull and predictable but Richie fans will like it.moreless
