The reunion show, hosted by series creator Garry K. Marshall (brother of Penny Marshall who became famous as Laverne from "Laverne and Shirley") took place on the old 'Arnold's' set, with the cast seated in a semi-circular fashion and Marshall using a chat-style approach to ask questions, tell stories and share memories.
It was fantastic to see everyone again, even the wonderful Pat Morita (Arnold) made a surprise appearance! Of course, the show was stolen by Ron Howard (not looking much older than he did in the original series) and Henry Winkler, just as it always was when it first aired. The close friendship between the two was obvious as was Scott Baio's respect for his former colleagues, particularly Winkler, who played his cousin and with whom he shared a large amount of screen time.
Donny Most (Ralph Malph) had very little to say, in fact, he seemed almost shy but there were plenty of funny tales to tell, some hilarious Bloopers to look at and above all, a chance to see the cast of one of the funniest 70s sitcoms back together again.
It wasn't the best reunion show ever, but it was far from the worst too. Fans will certainly enjoy the trip down memory lane and I for one am very glad I watched it, you will be too.
