We have all watched little Joannie Cunningham go from a young girl into a young lady over the course of four seasons so it's hardly surprising when Joannie herself decides that she is sick of everyone treating her like a child as she is now a young woman and wants to be seen as such, most particularly by her family.
To show that she is no longer a child, Joannie begins to hang around with a rather unsavoury local gang and finds the whole thing very thrilling and exciting and just what the doctor ordered until the leader exopects quite a bit more of someone who wants to be his girlfriend and big brother Richie has to help her out quick smart.
Good to see Joannie rebelling a little and some great scenes between Erin Moran and Ron Howard.
