Fonzie says that his father left him when he was two years old, and his mother left him when he was four. However, in the second-season episode, "A Star is Bored," he says that his father left him when he was 12. In the episode "Christmas Time" which aired during the sixth season, it is revealed that his father left him when he was three. Then, in the episode "Arthur, Arthur" from season 11, Fonzie tells his brother that his father paid some guy to take him to a father-and-son picnic when he was eight.
Anson Williams, Erin Moran, and Lynda Goodfriend do not appear in (at least) the syndicated version of this episode.
The episode title would seem to come from Paul Simon's 1972 song of the same name.
