  • A second anniversary is a bit too soon to be going down memory lane and it showed in this episode.

It's the Fonz's birthday and as he gathers with the Cunninghams to celebrate, they can't help but take a trip down memory lane and review many of the things which have happened in the last two years.

Quite frankly, although there is nothing wrong with the memories - indeed, some of them are the best moments from the show, I think that having this kind of episode after only two years is a little bit soon given that everything would still pretty much be fresh in the minds of viewers who had been watching from the beginning. Maybe a 5 year anniversary special would have been better when some of the great memories had faded a little.moreless

    • At the start of the opening credits, an announcer says: "Welcome to The Happy Days 2nd Anniversary Special." There are no standard closing credits. People dance in the background, and the gang is at a booth at Arnold's as the credits are rolled to, first, an instrumental version of "I'm Walkin'" followed by the regular closing theme. Edit
