  • A very funny episode as Richie and the boys rent a cabin at Lake Whitefish and pretend to be businessmen in order to impress some girls.

Once again, Richie, Potsie and Ralph are bored and this time it's because it's the Easter holidays and they have nothing to do to entertain themselves. Finally, they decide to put their money together and rent a nice cabin up at Lake Whitefish where they hoping to find some fun and frolics to be had.

When they arrive at the cabin, they are immediately taken by three very beautiful young girls and want to do what they can to impress them. Their plan is to pretend to be wealthy businessmen just taking a break, but will the older and more sophisticated girls fall for it?moreless

Although I would rank the third season as possibly the best overall of the show's run, offering up some of the show's real classics, this is one of my far lesser favourite episodes.

I'm not entirely sure why, but this one just doesn't do it for me as much as some of the other greats in the season. It doesn't seem as out and out funny, and I just have trouble really warming to the scenario. Not quite bottom of the barrel - there were episodes from the last couple of seasons that were FAR worse than this - but from the show's first few seasons, this is one of my lesser favourites.moreless
  • One of the best episodes of the series.

    9.5
This episode has it all. It's historic (the great "Tunisian camel jockey" set-up is the upshot of a spring trip to Whitefish Bay), folkloric (Ralph's lesson in counting to 5 in some ersatz Native American tongue--"ick, mock, cloon, lock, quinum"), and sophomoric (some comely college chicks), all wrapped up in satisfying fashion when (as usual) Fonzie rides to the rescue. This episode is also the origin of one of the great lines from the series ("Do you want to eat pie or make out?) and of one of the great closing gags (won't spoil it for you). A certified classic.moreless
