  • Richie decides that he needs professional help when he keeps having trouble with girls.

Richie just can't seem to get it right when it comes to catching the girls he's interested in. He tries everything to make them interested in them including doing a truly terrible impersonation of James Dean which, inside of making girls admire him, earns him an unhealthy dose of ridicule.

When he is given a book on abnormal psychology to read by a girl who clearly thinks he has problems, Richie reads it and begins to think that the book points to a plethora of abnormalities in his personality, with the result that he consults a psychiatrist, Dr. Ed Castle (Ivor Francis) to see if he can be 'cured'.

A funny episode with plenty of laughs and a few lessons to be learned about how NOT to impress girls as well!

One my favorite episodes, Richie shows his how confusing teenage years can be. He starts out trying to get attention of a girl and later finds out he has deep issues with growing up.

    The two stand-out scenes are:
    1) Richie and Ralph exchanges. Especially, when Ralph reveals his real thoughts of The Fonz. (Ralph: "Take Fonzie... super cool Fonzie... Him with his 'AAAAAY!' ...That's a little sicko when you get down to it!")

    2) Richie talking to himself.

In this episode also the first time we get the ideal Ralph is a little cowdardly... he reveals he sleep with the lights on.
