This week the writers had the characters working in pairs (except Alex and Max who got very little screen time) which did not work in this episodes favor. The cast works when they are all together or at least involved in each other's stories as much as possible. This separation made me feel like something was missing. It did have its moments and I do find each individual character great in their own way, I hope that this next episode (so soon!) keeps the gang together as much as possible.
Highlights:
- I really did love the two guys that Max was set up with
- Alex reading the parrot autopsy report after a murder confession from Penny and Brad, only to find out that Alex had killed her own bird via margarita.

Episode Summary
EDITWhile Alex is away at her Rom-Com Com, Brad and Penny accidentally break her favorite childhood memento. While attempting to glue it back together, Alex's racist parrot dies from the glue fumes. Jane and Dave go overboard trying to find a match for Max.
