Happy Since I Met You was a television play that aired in 1981. The play
starred Julie Walters as the character of Frances. Frances was a drama
teacher for adults and would try anything to get her students interested
in theater. One of her students, Jim (Duncan Preston), was an aspiring
actor and vowed to listen to everything that Frances taught him. The
series continued as Frances tried to teach Jim the art of acting, and in
turn ended up falling deeply in love.
