  • During an investigation on a corrupted man, Mark's life is put in serious danger.

    Really a great episode.

For certain ways it's quite different from common ones: at the beginning the plot is as usual but then... Well, there's a rich villain Mark and Milton are trying to frame, in this case is a corrupted actor. But, during routine investigations, Mark is captured, shot and left for dead.

So the second part of the episode focuses on Milton's desperate search for his friend; and this part is great.

During all the episode you're kept in suspence, because of the visions Millie Denton has about Mark's appearent death.

But the last part is breathtaking.

The music, too, fits perfectly the action, in particular during Mark's shooting (that we see cross Millie's visions) and the following search by Millie and Milton.

In deed, while Millie is resigned and thinks Mark is dead, Hardcastle doesn't want to believe it, and makes Millie help him.

Of course they manage to locate Mark just in time to save him.

In the final scenes, back at Gull's Way, we find out Mark is well; Milton and him have started again kidding around, and the villains have been framed thanks to the evidence Mark had gathered.

Well, one note: the opening teaser was deceiving: it looked like Mark was really going to die! I think it's really worth watching this ep: it's exciting, entertaining, touching and dramatic: in a word, perfect!moreless
