What disgusting nimrods. The dad looks like some cheesy pedophile with his bald head and a pony tail. I mean, REALLY? Ashley is a fat, loud-mouthed I shudder thinking about encountering her. She has no class and is clearly inadequate in her job. You do not run a business in the manner she does. Seth? Seems as weak as everyone else on the show. Why is this on the air?

If you want to know how legitimate HARDCORE POWN really is, watch the episode from 2012 where Seth bets Ashley the he is "the best pawn broker in the Seth has to buy an animal-skin hat and sell it the same day. Seth "orders" Bobby Jay to wear the hat until he sells it; after numbers attempts, Bobby Jay sells the hat. Yet, Seth forces Ashley to say "Seth is the best pawn broker in the Seth did not sell the hat; Bobby Jay sold the hat; consequently Seth's low self-esteem, unethical cheating shins clearly through. Seth, Ashley, and even Les Gold's ethics and morals are below standards. The fifty to two-hundred percent mark-up they make off the depressed and desperate customers is pathetic. The only one person who seems to have any ethics is Richard wonder why we don't see him much anymore?

Seth is very stupid. To make a rule that if anyone goes to a certain employee's desk should be fired is crazy. He never even asked his dad about it. The employee is very loyal that he was going to fire. Seth told Les that you make the rules but change them. Hey idiot, he needed to go back there to shine up and customers ring. Then he blames his dad. I think he is so stupid, he makes dumb rules where all the employees want to quit. He acts all big and bad when a customer confronts him only because he has those body guards. Would not come from behind that glass if not for the camera crew and body guards. When Les passes away that business will go under. At least Ashley would know how to run it, she might be tough and rule but she has a business sense about her. Seth needs to be fired for stupidity

Wow, I watched this show for the first time and will NEVER watch again until sassy sassy Seth is GONE! What a child. He's like a baby without a binky lol. Like Dad and Sis, they're ok. Watching Seth is more of the joke, he tries to act like an adult but still comes across like a bully punk who needs his ass kicked. Jewelry can't help you now Seth. Bye bye.

Les has taught his son and daughter not to respect him. They may say they love him, but they do not. Les is a terrible father. Seth is so rude and not too intelligent. Ashley is also very rude. Les has taught them to behave this way. In my opinion, Les is a terrible father. He may love his kids but he hasn't taught them how to be mature adults. I can swear like a sailor but the language on this program is over and above normal. The word fuck, shit, ashole, etc are losing their It is certainly no way to be respectable or business person. Les, you must teach your kids to respect you. Maybe you don't respect yourself or believe you deserve respect. Sad, really.

I used to enjoy this show, but lately it has become unwatchable. Seth is a complete moron, trying to have employees fired for honest mistakes. He never laughs, always has a sour look on his face, walks like he's constipated, and thinks he knows everything about everything. His sister isn't much better. Shrill, condescending and with little understanding of the value of most of the things brought in front of her, it's obvious she wouldn't be hired were she not the bosses daughter. I live the way both of them confront angry customers only when they have a couple of bodyguards within three feet of them, as though this proves they are tough. They're both lightweights in every possible way.

This show is a joke and their business is joke. It amazes me that people actually behave this way. The owner and staff are just as bad as their customers. They make money ripping the poor off. I seen an episode where Seth takes a piece crap entertainment system from the trash to sell it for like 30 dollars! Really? 30 dollars? There so desperate to make a dollar that they trash pick! They don't even have respect for the business itself. They hussle their customers and when something valuable comes through the doors they don't even have the decency to make an offer for what it's worth. I understand they need to make money but some of their offers are just plain rediculous! And they get away with it because they know their customers are desperate for cash and will take anything. As I said they make money by ripping people off.



Ashly you talk like an idiot and hope you know that people are actually laughing at you when watching your stupid show. I can't wait for the episode when some one punches you in your face!



Seth? Do you ever listen to yourself when you speak???? You just bring noise to people's ears.



Less, when your kids bring noise to your ears just know that you raised them! They add no value to your business!



I am sure the producers are full aware of all this but they air the show because they get ratings by people tuning in to laugh at them or to be amazed how rude and disrespectful people are. Clearly Hardcore pawn don't give a shit of their image.



I think it's funny when something nice comes through the doors they always say that they won't find anybody to sell it too. Great clientele hardcore pawn!! Can't even raise the bar for own damn business!



My advice to viewers, change the channel if you want something decent to watch!

This show and the Owners kids make me sick. I have to change the channel whenever the brats are on with their bickering. I realize the producers think that they accomplish their goal by creating controversy with the viewers but in my case I can't stand the people personally aside from the show. Their lack of common sense and a personality make me sick. I have to turn them off the minute they come on. I usually don't even bother turning to the show because I know whats coming. The father is OK to watch at least he has some life skills and common sense. The kids were given their jobs by dad and are spoiled brats and I believe this to be true even aside from the show. The old man should kick them out of the family trough and let them try and make it in the real world and not off dads success. Producers do yourself a favor and end the children's bickering. I say children because that's what they are. Let me know when you end that portion of the show or even better get rids of the kids

This show is SOOO bad!!! Every time I watch this pathetic excuse for a pawn shop/reality show I find myself watching in disgust. I generally don't leave reviews for misc. tv shows, but this one is so bad I felt that I had to express my total hatred for it.

To start with, the son Seth is a complete a-hole, dirtbag. I've never seen a more disrespectful, good for nothing pile of excrement. He likes to treat people, whether it be his family, or employees like crap. He seems to think he's done something in his life that makes him better then other people. I sometimes wonder if he realizes how much anyone whose ever watched his show, or talked to him in person hates his guts... When it comes right down to it, I pity him though. I'd rather be the broke crack head trying to sell my mamas watch for a dollar. What a turd!! Not even a turd, just a skid mark.

The daughter is just as equally as horrible. Everything I said about the son goes for the daughter too. Horrible people!!! Do yourself a favor and avoid this show at all costs. Easily the worst show and people on tv. TERRIBLE!

If you are looking for a TV show that has no plot, awful characters, and goes nowhere with its premise, then look no further than Hardcore Pawn. It is an all out abysmal excuse of a TV show that not only tries to be a Pawn Stars wannabe, but it has virtually no redeeming values to the show whatsoever.



Unlike Pawn Stars where the owners and workers there acted professional, funny, and treated their customers with respect, Hardcore Pawn has none of that. Every member of the Gold family is almost always acting disrespectful in some way to somebody. They very rarely act like professionals, all they do is shout and yell as much profanity as you would hear on Jerry Springer, and they always treat their customers like dirt for the most part. There are even times when an item brought in by a customer looks valuable, but the store buys it for a cheaper price and rip off their customers.



I suppose though I can give the employees some slack since the customers are always so ignorant and rude to them. It seems all they love to do is curse out at everyone, flip out over the tiniest thing, and pretty much act belligerent and rude to everyone around them. It's a wonder that many of these people aren't in jail for the way they act or forced to go into therapy.



Speaking of the Gold family, they aren't good business owners at all and it's a wonder that the way they run their shop, they haven't been shut down yet. Les is probably the only member of the family I like. He's still kind of shady, but he at least isn't screaming at everyone almost every two seconds or so. He does maintain a decent professional outlook on his business. His big highlight though is when he refused to buy a radar gun from a dad who badmouthed his son for losing a baseball game. It shows Les isn't so obsessed with money and greedy.



Seth is a rather arrogant man who does have his moments. Most of the time though he's often making a lot of bad deals and seems to rip off customers with how much he's willing to buy something. He also gets into a lot of fights with his sister, Ashley, and seems to do a little too much cursing. Not to mention he NEVER admits he did anything wrong. He seems to think he can do no wrong.



Ashley, though, gets my vote for the worst member of the family and is someone who should not be in any kind of business at all. All she does in EVERY episode is whine, complain, moan, and act like a complete spoiled brat. She's always cussing out at everyone, makes them do something for her, and screams and yells at everyone from her family, to employees, and to customers. In one episode alone, a group of employees are acting lazy and Ashely tells Seth and Les about it. Les tells her to handle it and what does she do? She pouts and gives Seth a cold glare and expects someone to do her job. Seriously, if she was running a business and I was near it, I would boycott the place and shop anywhere else than a business run by this so called "manager". It's a wonder nobody has hit her yet, punched her teeth out, or how she hasn't been fired from the store with her rotten attitude.



As for storyline, there really is none to talk about since the plot goes nowhere for the most part. I know it's similar to Pawn Stars with having to buy and sell stuff to customers, but it seems that most of the time they add in unneeded plots like who will run the store or something in there to liven things up. It feels more like this show can't decide on what it wants to be. Is it a show about who will run a pawn shop, or a show very similar to Pawn Stars? Who knows and more importantly, who cares?



Hardcore Pawn is very weak at best. The concept is not only a big ripoff to Pawn Stars, but it's got bad main characters, with the exception of Les since he's the only one who acts decent, irritating customers who always fly off the handle, and a storyline that seems to have no idea what it's trying to be. If you want a good show about a pawn store, stick to Pawn Stars instead and steer away from this show at all costs.

Why does Les, a professional businessman where the same exact clothes every episode. Seth wears the same black striped shirt. Do you know how stupid you all look with your fake tans and too much jewelry and same old outfits?

I think that you are arrogant and that you have anger issues. I think that you should back off Ashley, you are mentally abusive to her and she has enough on her plate raising children and working a full time job. She does not need to put up with you abusive behavior. I you ever want to go through counseling, I would give free anger management counseling. I actually change the channel when you are on because I cannot subject myself to watching you being mean to your sister.

I can't believe this crap is still on . Their acting is really bad and everything is based round arguing, anger and violence. So pathetic!!!!!

I am sorry but this show is the worst on the TV the Boss his a total Asshole and the kids are worst then that they have no compassion for people and they are ripping people off.

Ashley is horrible, She does not know to talk to people. She needs a lesson on selling. She immediately turns people off. Almost every time someone asks her what they want for their stuff and she says "that's not going to Shows no respect for people. She is a bitch and doesn't know shit. Her brother is a little better. Les is cool but does screw people when he can instead of giving them a fair deal when they don't know the value of their stuff.

Ashley is only on the show to bring up the ratings because she is not a people person. Why does she have to ask everyone why they want to buy the item. It's none of her business. I love Les, he is one cool dude. Seth has some issues as well. I understand Les wanting it to be a family business but he needs to get rid of his kids. I enjoy watching his other employees being involved in the everyday operations. It seems the show is more about Seth and Ashley getting into arguments and trying to egg each other on. That's not a good premise for the show. The customers they have to deal with need to be slapped in the face and carried upside down out the door. I would not hesitate. The cashiers need to have a sliding window to shut in front of the really nasty customers and if they put their hands under the glass, they should stab them with a fork! If they can give it to you in your own store, you should be allowed to do anything to them. I can't watch it anymore because it upsets me so much.

I live down south in florida. I spend a lot of time around southern black folks. I have never seen blacks in the south act like the trash that comes into the hardcore pawn show. Those people are absolute low lifes. The southern blacks i know would not be caught dead around those people. It it shamefull the way they act and they do it right in front of everyone. It is shocking to watch it. Sometimes i have to turn it off because i am embarrassed for them. I am a grown man. I have never seen black folks in the south act dissrespectfull like that. The white people that come in there are just as bad if not worse. There is no exuse for it. Is that how people up north raise their kids to act? Oh My god. My grandma would have knocked the taste out of my mouth If i acted like that. Those people in that town are trashy and dont have an ounce of shame.

Most people dont know that what u buy is on market price 4 that day & the items have a base 2 work from that makes this job easy enough.

These ppl have no class, esp. the kids. They undermine each other constantly. They are rude, obnoxious, and disrespectful to each other, the customers and their father. They are afraid of the nasty customers but get mouthy when the bouncers take control and they can hide behind them. I'd like to see someone slap the smirks off their faces. They could all takes some lessons from Rick, The Old Man, Big Hoss and Chumlee on how to act professionally and how to run a business and still have fun with each other. I am hoping most of this show is fake because if not it's a damn shame that they really act this way.

These people are beyond rude and disrespectful to their customers. I hope somebody goes in and kicks the shit out of any one of them.
