  • This show was based on the hit movie, \"Harper Valley PTA\". The show followed Stella Johnson and her daughter as she was endlessly judged by the Harper Valley PTA, and how she turned the tables on them and put them in their place.moreless

    "Poor"
This show, though having some cute moments, was not as good as the movie it was based on. Barbara Eden returned as Stella Johnson and was her usual cute, funny self. But she really had nothing new to add to the part except for the usual routines that the movie chronicled. It was still enjoying to watch, mainly for Barbara Eden alone. The jokes were few and the situations were typical, often tired.moreless
