I like that they acknowledged the past history of this show and what Harry used to do, but that was one of the few positives to take away. Phoebe is an unnecessary and unwanted addition to the cast, and Adam continues to be one of the least convincing lawyers on television. Camryn Manheim fighting so vigorously to uphold the sentence, and then she just decides to try and save his life at the end? Not believable at all.

Malcolm returns to help defend his friend, Lil D, who is now on death row having been convicted for murdering a police officer. Malcolm feels Harry abandoned his friend by passing him off to another attorney. Harry agrees to help Malcolm under the condition that he focus on his studies.
Adam and Phoebe help Tony Trafford, a kind man who is facing extradition to England for having unknowingly stolen a Rembrandt at age 17.
