I really enjoyed the pilot of Harry's Law. Sentimental, sappy, fight for the rights of the underdog, all are what make it a light-hearted alternative to heavier themed shows. It's feel-good TV. It struck me as a contemporary legal series with similar appeal to "Murder She Wrote"

I tend to favor dark dramas and darker comedies but every so often it's nice to just have something simply enjoyable.

Yes, I would classify it as the second best thing in the absence of Boston Legal but with more drama in it. The second episode was fantastic but they better find some paying customer fast.

Really liked the third episode, thought it was a vast improvement over the second one.

i really like this show, which is why I'm afraid nbc might cancel it like all the shows I've liked on the network the past few years. luckily this show actually seems to be getting good rating so maybe just maybe it will stick around for at least another year.

Here are the ratings for Innocent Man:

    10:00 thru 10:30: 10.712 million viewers with a 2.0/5 in the 18-49 demo
    10:30 thru 11:00: 11.016 million viewers with a 2.1/6 in the 18-49 demo

I haven't watched the episode yet, but from what I've read, it was the best yet!

Does your cable system have Video on Demand i.e., a channel where you can purchase movies and/or see repeats of many of the shows shown during the week. Mine does, and that's what I do.

While Wheels of Justice was a terrific episode, the ratings took a severe hit being against full competition:

    10:00 thru 10:30: 9.03 million viewers with a 1.6/4 in the 18-49 demo
    10:30 thru 11:00: 9.26 million viewers with a 1.7/5 in the 18-49 demo.

Pretty sad numbers in the demo, but with NBC's standards of late, it's probably still safe. The fact that it built in viewers and demo in the second half is a positive, and the huge total viewers (while typically not important to a network) may convince NBC to move the series to a time slot with a much stronger lead-in to help build the demo.

Another great episode (2/07). The show is different from Boston Legal although it does have some areas that can be compared. In Tommy Jefferson Tommy Jefferson we have the new Danny Crane Danny Crane, without the mad cow.

Agreed though Denny Crane was far funnier.

A Day In the Life was possibly the best episode they've done yet, with some terrific acting from Kathy Bates! Let's look at the ratings:

    10:00 thru 10:30: 8.466 million viewers with a 1.7/5 in the 18-49 demo
    10:30 thru 11:00: 8.509 million viewers with a 1.7/5 in the 18-49 demo

The bad news is that the demo is still dangerously low; a 1.7 is risky even for a network as humbled as NBC. The good news, however, is that the demo was steady from last week, and that the total viewers increased in the second half-hour, unlike both of it's competitors. I think it's safe to say that The Cape is severely dragging this show down! With the proper lead-in, it could definitely flourish!

Here are the ratings for Bangers in the House:

8.67 million viewers with a 1.7/5 in the 18-49 demo.

The good news is that the demo has been stable for the past three weeks, and the total viewers is quite high for an NBC 10:00 PM show.
