Harry's first husband dies and she is grudgingly left to make arrangements since the man has no other family. She and Tommy take on the case of man who has for months been labeled a 'Person of Interest' in his ex-wife's murder with dire consequences to himself and his family. Meanwhile, Adam and Phoebe help a man who was dismissed from his job for a very unusual reason and Ollie and Cassie come to heated words over an Affirmative Action case of his. Amidst all this the staff is planning the law firm/shoe store's anniversary party, which Harry wants no part of.

Arnold's Bar and Grill, where the party takes place, has been used in many episodes of the program. It is Cincinnati's oldest saloon and, as the sign says, has been in continuous operation since 1861. It is located at 210 East 8th Street, roughly one-half mile from the Convention Center.

The actual filming took place on a Warner Brothers sound stage modeled after the venerable tavern. In June 2012, Arnold's received four large boxes of props from the set, highlighted by the stained-glass window used on NBC. They plan to display the items in an upstairs dining room which be called the Harry's Law room.
