Dispite all the bad reviews i read about Harsh Realm, i bought the DVD set and was blown away. Considering that it only lasted 9 episodes they did quite a lot of charactor development. Personally i feel that Harsh realm should have done at least a full season. A shame Chris Carter couldn't sort this show out.

I agree with you, i saw this show when it frist went on air in Australia, Western Australia. they put it on late and not many of my friends saw it but i told them about it and they watched it the next week. This is one of them show that i think was a bit ahead of it's time. it had a great story line to it and would of gone better if they let it go at a better time

I loved it, too. Bad timing, with The Matrix and all. I'm still hoping they'll do a remake or something like that.

I really hope they do a remake as well, but i don't thikn they will for a long while yet. If they made this show now i think it would have gone on for a couple of seasons.

I think Fox should have given it at least a full season. The nine episodes produced really show that this series had a lot of potential. "Kein Ausgang" and "Camera Obscura" especially make good use of the premise.
Of course, if it had run a few seasons, they might have run into trouble with Scott Bairstow's legal problems.

I just finished watching this series. I'm a little disappointed there's no ending, though I didn't expect one.

Good series anyway, which I'd have liked to have seen more of.

I think Fox was expecting a, 'X Files 2' kinda fipoff show, and got this. There's an episode of TXF where a bloke is watching Harsh Realm, and he says "I don't know what's going on, but I really like it!"
